I think the one I was looking at was perhaps a greater hog badger or an Indochinese hog badger since the photos I was looking at were from a wildlife sanctuary in Thailand. I think all of the subspecies (or the three species recognized by the IUCN and their subspecies, however you prefer to word it) are similar in appearance, though. I was extremely amused by their faces, though, it seemed so funny to have a pig nose on a badger! (Basically one of those moments where it's like "Wow, nature sure is a funny thing, look at the face on this guy!")
