Hi. It's really hard to keep these greetings even remotely interesting and different every day (not that it matters, but I like to say something a little different each day) since there's that pesky rule about having to use only English on the forums. I think I can get away with naming songs in the song thread that have non-English titles because they are names (like what, I can't even mention a song if it's not in English? nah I don't think so), but I feel like it's risky to use greetings in other languages. Some non-English greetings are well-known to English speakers but they're still technically against the rules, I suppose. As someone who really enjoys learning languages, I've always hated that rule. I understand their reasoning for it, but it sucks, and I think it's unnecessary. Our speech isn't even that restricted here; what are they afraid we might sneak past them? Even Neopets allowed other languages and they're SUPER strict about what you can talk about there; heck, they offered multiple translations of their whole site! I always used the German version and learned a lot that way. Probably the only thing I miss about Neo.
