My beau said pretty much the same thing about that movie! I've not yet gotten around to watching it, I spend too much time reading and playing games and rarely watch anything other than the occasional Mystery Science Theater 3000 in the evenings. >>; Have you watched the American live action Ghost in the Shell movie? My beau said it bombed in reviews, but I thought it was really good, especially if you go into it without expecting it to follow the SAC anime or anything like that. (Though, despite what others have apparently said, it IS at least vaguely similar to the original animated film, in my opinion. Besides, the cast was way too good for me to hate it, and the CG was straight up amazing, like, on par with Marvel movies amazing.)
