Yep! This might even be a good thing. Sounds like they're thinking of moving me to a site closer to my house. I think I kind of wanted a change anyway, as long as I still have the freedom I was talking about.

I already had all the achievements that are still obtainable. I kind of hoped they'd add new tiers but that might get pretty discouraging for those who aren't done yet.

That sounds nice! So you can still do what you like, but then closer to home. That's kind of awesome :D

Yeah, it might :P It was actually a bit discouraging for me at first, because I had 0 on all achievements. The whole achievement-system got re-hauled since my hiatus, so all my old achievements are probably lost :(

Oh no! D: There should still be some way to retrieve your old achievements. It's been a while since the overhaul but I think there was a button to click to supposedly get everything you had back. (I swear some of mine were lost in the shuffle but I got most of them, at least.) You might be able to file a ticket about it if you have some idea of what you had.

The problem with that is that I have no clue at all about what achievements I had, plus at some point I got a bug that caused me to get a lot of titles which I hadn't earned... So I filed a ticket and they reset my titles. Not all titles got through though, since I had to file another ticket for the ice fields achievement, because I had the trophy on my profile and the bucket in my vault, but not the achievement. I also must've gotten some of the kissing tiers before, because apparently I already had the Tiny Virus in my wardrobe (and it's not something that I'd buy myself lol). Nothing to do about it but to retry for all achievements. It's not like I had a lot of them before anyway xD

I'm sorry to hear they made such a mess of your achievements! :( I only think I lost a few and it still made me mad. Good luck with regaining them all again.

It doesn't bother me that much, because like I said I wasn't that into achievements before anyway xD But thanks! It's fun to get an event for it though, that always makes me feel like I accomplished something lol

That's good...they still should have been more careful with our achievements though. But I guess this way you do get to have all the satisfaction of collecting them all over again. X'D

It was ok, yeah, I got trained there last night. It's all right I guess. Unfortunately, it's one of those outdoor positions where I just have to stay in my car or walk around; no building access. So no flush toilets, no outlets and no hot water to make tea or coffee. Those were perks of my last site. But at least it is easy and I will be alone lol.

Shall I make cup noodles (chilli miso ramen) or hummus and carrot sticks for lunch? I can't decide :(

I had the carrot sticks and hummus! Did not regret, it was tasty. I usually do have it with some pita too, but I was too lazy to toast them yesterday haha ~ I think I'll have the noodles today! They're quite good noodles, itsu released some new ones and they're only like 200 calories ^^

Pita is super good, I usually eat it with mayo and tomatoes >3<

It's not exactly what I had hoped for. But yeah, it's a little closer to my house. And I'll probably get an inverter and maybe even a solar kit so I can run more stuff in my car if I decide to stay at this site for very long. Would be handy to have for camping anyway.

Never heard of itsu before, but I'm guessing they don't sell that here in Belgium :P I usually go to the toko to get my noodles. I really like indomie's "mi goreng hot & spicy", it's delicious~ For instant noodles, I prefer soba :)

Only tiny ones so far (and they aren't really killers...yet...mwahaha). It's just a little hobby I started getting into because I wanted to learn how to do something new. I used to make them using a Lego Robotics kit years ago; now I've been making ones that are actually soldered, along with other little electronic gadgets (such as IR intruder alarms). I'm really just a beginner but I'll have lots of time to learn more, sitting in my car all night lol.

Still, that sounds pretty amazing! I'm crap with doing stuff like that. It seems super cool to me, but I can't be bothered to try it and I don't have the time nor inclination to study electronics lol. Is there any project you're working on now?

I'm between projects now but my next one is going to be a six-legged walking insect (I have the kit already). Here's one I put together a few months ago. It reminds me of a cockroach because it skitters away in bright light lol. Bug bots are fun; I'd love to make a flying one eventually.
