Yes thats what i mean, that is beautiful, it wouldnt detract or take away anything thats already here on site, there has been no problem with people choosing zapper skins or zombie skins, this would just be another option for us and as has said its more updated to match the quality of artwork nowadays.
Even though I have a dozen skins I still buy make up and shaders etc, and try stopping using her lol.
Maybe Elucid might be trying to make some weird skin and has an 'accident' and makes lovely ones instead,who knows how they might appear.

just something that the "basic body" already has. (like you can put on different skin tones....couldn't "shading" be added to that)

my "basic" body, has about 12 items that i constantly use, trying to get shading and contour on it.

there are many people who can not afford cw's we were just hoping for something more "site wide" that ALL could use, no matter how much sps/csc you might have.

that art is beautiful, I have to admit! We are all working with hypothesis here, unless it's something really well planned and executed, those risks are all plausible until we see the actual thing happening... I'm not comfortable with such risks and that's why I'm against this, but if it happens, it happens!

I don't know about changing the base itself too much (although they could probably do with a bit of an update, I think some of the existing skin colors have weird old art anyway).

But I think it would be cool to have some more official, non-CW items to adjust the look of the HA body with. As it was already mentioned, not everyone can afford CWs or is interested in using them. People who are can keep making specific ones for their own layering purposes. The official site items wouldn't have to be exactly the same, but just some basic shading kind of stuff would be good.

If I remember correctly, we have a couple skins from achievements (Flameo, Lace) so maybe that could be an option of obtaining such a unique skin

I don't think this would effect cws or cash shop items so much/at all. Users will still submit/release/purchase items they wish to achieve whatever looks they are going for, imo

Personally, I'd be happy if there was just an update to artwork of the base for the non-natural skin tones to match the current quality of the bases for natural skin tones. That said, it would be nice if there was an overall update of the base like the one posted. I'd still want to use modifying items to give my guys a more defined look, but I do think it matches the semi-realistic style of the new and revamped clothing better than what we have now.

The avatar bases (shading obviously, not poses) and avatar defaults (hair styles/eyes/mouths/noses) are all examples of outdated art. I support this suggestion.

That updated shading whipped up looks amaazing, I really hope we can get updated shading for our HA bases someday.. It just looks so silly having all of these lovely updated items with our still insanely flat bases
