I like the collapsible pets idea, but there's one issue with it that I can spy straight away. :c The fact that it gets cleared when someone gets logged out, or after a cache clear. Subeta tends to randomly log me out about once a month. Plus, I tend to clear my cache every so often because Subeta doesn't always work that well without it when big changes are made. Having to go through 81 pets and collapse them all manually just to filter out the one or two I'm actually training would get annoying and I would most likely stop bothering with it after a couple of times. Widgets, I can cherry pick those and sum the important ones up into the notepad widget. Pets... not as much.

I'm not saying it'd be useless - on the contrary. It'd be very useful for people who aren't pet hags like me. :'D

The same goes for the idea of ticking checkboxes for the pets you want to train and training them all with one button on the bottom of the page. Super handy if you are training 3+ pets at once! Still handy, but slightly less so if you have to fish around for those three pets among 40+ pets that you're not training.

I know, I mentioned that when I talked about it on the last page.

Since the suggestion seems to be about difficulty finding your pets on the page: If you're only training one or two pets, could I suggest maybe moving them to the beginning of your pets on the pet order page? Or moving them to the very bottom? That way you can choose where they'll show up on the page. You shouldn't need to fish around for them, because you can control what order they show up in.

For instance, I keep my pets ordered weakest to strongest, so that the pets I train the most often show up at the top of the page where it's easy to click them. The pets that require more scrolling for me are also the ones that train less often, so it works for me.

Anyway, I don't have any better ideas than what I suggested so I don't know what would work for you... Everything I can think of that would involve making pets stand out or hidden on the page will require storing it in your browser for now, there's no way around that.

@ Bug Yep, I moved one to the top and one to the bottom of my pets list for the sake of less hassle in the meantime. It's working out, but it still poked me into making the topic.

My gourmand pet is not my battle pet, fwiw, I realized I'd have a problem with that 2-in-1 battle & gourmand deal when gourmand was first implemented and picked another pet for it. And since I don't feed any of my other pets, I thought "hey, maybe it'd be possible to tie it in with pet hunger because battling has that system already and nobody's complaining about that". It wouldn't be browser-dependent, but after reading all the feedback on it so far, I can honestly say that I didn't consider how it'd throw a spanner in the works for too many people.

So... I'm having a brainfart right now while trying to figure out how to possibly go about doing the thing without making it confusing for new users. 😳

Though this got me wondering. Would it be possible to have the link in the event tweaked? Ex: (wontfix is out of the training center!), instead leads to https://subeta.net/explore/train.php&ID=5904117, immediately displays the stats your pet gained and, on that same page, allows you to enroll the pet into a training course?

wontfix has gained 3 points in Strength!

Enroll in a new session? (dropdown with stats you can train) Note about autotraining costs and number of sessions (train your pet!) (autotrain) Back to Jim's Training center! (links to https://subeta.net/explore/train.php, lists ALL pets) [edit] Alternatively, the ID link works by offering sessions for that one pet on the page, so that people can bookmark, load and train one pet without dealing with all the rest. .-. Or is that too backwards for the direction Subeta's going in now?

The event link update sounds reasonable, I'll consult the other admins about it :)

Hey give me back my pet! wontfix is my baby D:

Thank you! :D Looking forward to hearing what other users have to say about it, too. It seems like the easiest solution to this. Although I'm not sure how it'd work with calculating stat gains from training, and displaying the stats you can still train. If you can't train strength any more because you gained a +3, would the site be able to calculate it in advance without awarding the stat, and only display defense, HP, speed and level in the dropdown on the same page? If that made zero sense, I'm sorry. :'D

;-; Ack! Sorry! He's okay, I promise. ... I didn't feed him too many treats, or anything like that. I would never! -shifty eyes-

That's definitely within programming capabilities. But I have to check with the battle admins if that kinda streamlining of the training center is something they'd approve of. And definitely want to hear from other users too :)

I see, thanks for explaining! c: Here's hoping you'll hear back soon.

First post and forum title have been edited to include the most recent suggestions! Original idea is still there under a spoiler, purely so that people don't wonder what the deal with all the pet hunger mentions is.

Have the pet&;s ID in the event link.
Ex: (Armageddon is out of the training center!), instead leads to <a href="https://subeta.net/explore/train.php&amp;ID=3995">https://subeta.net/explore/train.php&amp;ID=3995</a>.

Yesssssssssssssssssss

Selfish, yes, but this would be my choice. I only have one battle pet, and really no intentions of making another. So, cool, yeah, I can see my other 9 pets in the training center, but am I ever going to touch them? Nope. Having the event go to a pet specific page with only one additional click to keep training would be so fantastic.

I like the check list training page idea. Would be much easier than reloading to put every pet in training.

I was advised to come her thanks to Kevin! (Sorry that I missed this topic earlier.)

Though this was something that could be added onto the topics being discussed here~

I was just training my pets and I've noticed that it's already getting a bit tedious when I don't have anywhere near the max cap for pets slots. Basically the thought would be that there would be a button you could press to take all of your pets out of training at once, then another button where you could select all the pets you want to train and what stat you want to train said pet in and that would be that. Simple easy in and out and you'd be able to move on with other things.

Now my thought was that maybe to keep it balanced it would just cost double (Or more) the sp of each pets usual training price to be a tiny sp sink while also allowing people to choose to do it by hand to save a little at the cost of their time. My second thought that could keep it balanced might be that maybe it could just be a gold account feature, that way it gives gold account users that like to train something a bit useful while not being something absolutely unfair to regular users.

I don't really know if anyone would be interested in this honestly, because personally I guess it's a little silly to train multiple pets anyway. It's just something I've been doing lately and I'd like to keep doing it. I personally think this would be a nice little bonus feature for those that do train multiple pets though! ^^

Instead of a separate form for every pet on the page, you select all the pets you want to train (and in what stat), and then submit them all at once with a single button at the bottom of the page. I think of it like this: each pet has a checkbox, in addition to the current dropdown with the stats to choose from. And when you submit the button, it just puts all the pets you checked into training. This idea could do with some fleshing out but perhaps it has potential?

Oh my god yes yes yesss...I have 12 pets and it takes too long to do it all seperately (plus I'm just lazy). I'd love to do it with one click, and check them out in one click too.

To be honest with having 20+ pets a nice put all pets in training for a certain fee of sp sounds very tempting to me and less tedious than having to click one by one to get them into training.

These are my two favorite ideas. I only have 20 pets but these ideas would both help out a lot.

🌟YAY!!! I finally reached 5000 food items! My ultimate goal is 9000. 🌟
My first Gourmand pet would appreciate anything from this list that looks yummy.

Any news from the battle admins on this?

I know you said you'd ask them, but I think this slipped through the cracks. I've seen several topics in the meantime, all about making the battle center easier to use, so I thought I'd check. :'D

I currently have 22 pets and I would LOVE to have a single button to train them all. That would be so much easier then going through each pet separately. I would like it so much, I think I would be perfectly fine paying an extra fee for it.

I totally support the idea of collapsible pets. It would be awesome if we could.. "archive" pets???

Maybe lik a super-resort where pets go and they don't show up in training, feeding, reading etc for the duration? :)

So much yes!!!! I’ve been trying to train my 35 (soon to be 36) pets and if there was something like this I would greatly appreciate it! I know it’s crazy but omg please T.T there’s so much clicking. I just can’t do it all the time. And sometimes I’m in a groove and accidentally pet my pet in to train for nothing!!

I have less than 20 pets and I train them all. But I don't train them in a "normal" way. I just set an alert for my Tier 12 pet and train everyone when I train her. It means the baby pets don't get nearly the training they could, but if I trained them all to the max I'd be running to the training center every few minutes (or spending a ton of CSC I don't have).

I'm very tempted by the alert that links to a single pet. This might make it easier to train my weaker pets more often. But I don't know, I might get sick of it too. I'd still be training constantly, but at least I wouldn't be searching out 1 pet among a pile and it would be much faster.

I do really like the idea of going through the pets and set them up for training, then hitting a button to submit them all at once, that's still way better than the current system.

Honestly, since I train my pets evenly, I would love a single button training system that simply puts all trainable pets in for the next valid training, then I could go click that button every few hours.
