In this case you should probably reconsider whether hunting for certain achievements is really worth your time and nerves. A lot of them require doing repetitive stuff for a long time, and if you don't enjoy that, there is probably no point in doing them at all. After all, this is a game site - it's meant to be fun, not frustrating. You seem very determined to "win" this game as you've described, but to what end? Is proving to yourself (and maybe others?) that you could do it worth the emotional investment for you? I think that's the question you should answer for yourself before you think about what you'd do afterwards. As for friends, I'd guess you can always head over to the chit-chat forums to talk and get to know people here.

[edit]Alright, yeah. After weighing it a bit better I'm ditching this crap and going back to playing Subeta the way I vaguely remember having actually liked playing it. I should have done it a year ago, but I've been worried I'd change my mind again later. Thanks for talking some sense into me.

Yes, unfortunately battling is a rather expensive business. But if you're looking for something to do (particularly long term goals), then it's definitely something to consider.

With a tier 4 pet, you can defeat many more challengers than you might think in the beginning! And pets grow so fast :O Before you know it, there are other opponents you're able to defeat.

It's funny, but the main thing about the battle update which has me running around like crazy at the moment is that the opponents will get reset. That means I can get to 10 wins all over again, which means I will gain experience points all over again, which means I need to beat as many opponents as I can now (with all of my pets) to maximize the experience gain :O

I'll shut up now, or I'll turn this into a battle topic xD I can talk about this for hours.

Hahahaha, I don't mind. I've already maxed him out on as many of the challengers as I could manage to make him beat, so I'm set until the update comes.

I feel like I have "beaten" the game because I'm not that into it anymore. Like I used to be big into achievements but stopped actively collecting. Or I used to be into battling but I haven't trained my main battle pet in months. That's not to say I don't log onto subeta or don't like it but I've relaxed as a player. I can't even remember the last time I completed a quest lmao. Not even on the weekend special quest thing. The ultimate test for me will be black friday though. So many cash shop goods + cw pawn shop + user released cws = itch to use the wallet but I need to say no. :0 I mean why spend on a site when I'm not like ... super active on it right now?? T__T

You got great advice from others already but yeah sometimes it's just better to say you know what, if it's so stressful it ain't worth my time. Applies to most things in life. Or... there are other things to be doing. A balance is important. ;O;
