I totally understand you and I'm on the same page when it comes to more unreasonable tiers, I wouldn't like to have a 5 years achievement, it's a bit crazy! But if there will be, I think it's correct to give us the option to revive the streak..

about new users, the achievements system in general is not that new-users-friendly

I think the best would be to let us know what is the tiers limit too..

I wouldn't mind to recover 50% or to pay with tokens, anything that can recover the hard work :)

Yeah, so I don't think it would be too bad to have something like that to revive a streak if you want to. A lot of people messed up within one year, if it goes up to two years it will be even harder to keep going without messing up.

I don't think I would want it to be with Bathhouse tokens though, because that would mean you could never spend them. I've already spent the tokens that I've gotten so far, if there was an achievement added for 600 days and I messed up only a few days before getting there I would maybe consider spending sP on it depending on the price. But if it was Bathhouse tokens I'd be out of luck since I've been spending them as I get them. And there's no way to actually buy tokens from other users so yeah...

I like the idea of being able to spend sP to regain at least part of your streak if you miss a day. After getting a decent streak before and then missing a day, I've been trying really hard to not let that happen again. If there had been a way to get that count back (or even part of it), I would have done it. I'd hate to be really sick again and mess up my current, almost 300 days one before I get that achievement (and possibly miss out on any future ones...).

I'm all for paying for the water, maintenance, slip a little something-something to one of the attendants, whatever. It'd be an ok way to actually remove some sP from the game, instead of just trading it around, for people that care about getting the achievement/title/etc. Some of us clearly care about these numbers. :P

I'm a little less cool on the idea of having to also trade the bathhouse tokens, since... I don't think that we can get those from other users, right? But, maybe if you had to trade in just one? I don't think that you have to do too many days to get a single token, though that wouldn't be ideal for people that have been buying things with them. :d

How about a random item(s) from the bathhouse instead, since we can buy those from other people.

Ex. You miss a day and are met with a reset bathhouse counter. Oh no! Since the number of days is kept, add in a line below the 'You have visited the bathhouse 0 days in a row!' area like:

Attendant: Greetings, valued customer! You're one of our regulars, right? But I don't think I saw you come in the other day. If you gave me 50,000,000sP and , I could help you out by getting your 299 day pass back and Miss Ying doesn't have to know.

& call that area something so that people can hide it with CSS, if they do not care. It'd also be funny when they want you to buy a cheap child for them, instead of just an item.

I, personally like this idea. As someone who managed to fuck up on day 126, despite being online, it would have been nice to not have all that go to waste. (seriously, the next day when it told me I missed a day, I was so mad. I SWEAR I collected, but I probably just hit the link to go the pools, and didn't actually go into the damn thing. The perils of playing on autopilot lol)

I'm also against the idea of adding more tiers to this particular achievement. I think asking someone to be online every single day for years and years is just asinine. Yes, most of us are here anyways, and all it takes is to log in, one click and be done, but come on. No reward is worth that. 300 days is more than enough IMO. That's nearly a year.

some form of insurance so that you don't lose all your progress would be very nice, even if it was really expensive. if you've been rolling in for 300 days straight, you'd think you'd get some perks for being a regular.

i'm hoping that if/when we get any more tiers, it's just one for a full 365 days and that's it. the closer i get to 300 the more worried i am that something's going to go wrong and i'll lose my streak again :<

Yeah, I don't want you guys to suffer that much ! I didn't go all the way up to a year originally because I was debating getting an item drawn for that last tier or doing another title.

I'm looking forward to whatever it ends up being! The titles for the other tiers are all really good ~

Glad it will stop at a year. Will that one year be retroactive? If someone is at 400 now and misses a day before the achievement is added will they still get it?

I like the idea of a reset. Especially in situations where you lose your streak as a result of outside events (like if you have to evacuate for flood or fire, long lasting power failures etc.).

I messed up twice, once when I was sick and the other time I somehow missed doing all my dailies even though I was online...its a complete mystery. But I would definitely pay to get my streak back.
