something nice to happen to me was today for one of my classes when we went to the preschool on campus to do an assignment and working with the cutest boy. he didn't have much literacy knowledge yet but still a pleasure to work with. i have missed working with kids so much. i've had a bit of an absence from taking classes dealing with children so this was really nice :D

I don't really need anything, but will share my latest "happy moment". Yesterday, on HER birthday, my daughter brought me a bag of Reese's Mini Pumpkins. That was SO sweet of her. The mini pumpkins, trees, hearts, and eggs are my absolute downfall. :)

This is so nice! My top three items would be: For something nice, I've a family event to go to but also have school obligations. So I talked to my professor and they were immediately happy to help me reschedule and rearrange things to make room for it. Given the large size of classes that they were so nice and accommodating was super surprising and pleasing!

The good thing that happened to me recently was that I received compliments on my HA. I'm trying to make better HA's and my current one has received a few compliments from people I consider to be truly talented in this craft. Something nice that recently happened is getting an internship offer in the field of IT! :) there's still some time to go before I start but I'm getting really excited as it'll be my proper foray into the field of IT since I quit my previous industry. I've been on and off sick for over a month so it's a bit of happy news amongst all the coughing and niggling health issues I've been experiencing.

I'm a substitute teacher so the best thing that happened to me today was that my kids gave me hugs at the end of the school day. I'm one of those subs that tries their best to actually teach the kids, sooooo its heartwarming when the kids enjoy the day so much they've actually learned the lesson of that day. :D
