I've fought Flamagia 11x outside of BQ, out of which I've lost 6x and got 5 wins... I'm not sure if I'm ready to deal with her outside of BQ for the last 5 wins though. She's too much of a pain LOL

I decided it was a good idea to spend all of my exp before I hit another tier and the costs increase. So all of my smaller battle pets just got a boos! My tier 4 is very close to tier 5 now, the tier 8 went up one tier, the tier 9 is around 250 stats away from the next tier, and my tier 10 hit tier 11! Now I must have the tier 11 pet with the lowest AP ever :O

That should enable me to get a couple of more wins. But I don't have time for that :( I have the feeling something is going to happen soon, and I want to get as many opponents to 10 wins as possible before that. is working too fast :O

- I can understand waiting for wins 6 through 10 outside of BQs, but if you have five wins then the BQ version shouldn't be so bad.

I'm working on beating Saggi for Level 24 BQ. This could take a few tries. :-)

I can beat him on BQ alright , but sometimes he gets freeze happy, other times stealing happy, and the worst is a combo of both. He's just a pain to deal with LOL

I remember when we still had the highscore table, and somebody organized a contest to get as many wins as possible on certain opponents. I went and got like 1000 wins on Tide. Phew, that was something. Now I'm just too lazy to try since there is no point anyway. There's not even a highscore table to show off on :/

My tier 11 has 44 AP, and my tier 9s have 37 and 33 xD I'm only using boosters on my main battle pet, so all the others don't really have a way to gain any AP. Books are such a pain to get, and the books that are plot prizes or otherwise unique are going straight to the main battle pet too. Having more AP would help so much though. I can't even equip a freezing scroll when I have Aftershocks and Gift of the Forj equipped. I really need to do something about that low AP.

Good luck on Saggi and GE! I've been too lazy to try them with my tier 9s. Should really do that! But then again, some freezing scrolls would be nice..

Maybe with time we might be able to share our stats page? Actually I think that would be fun :P I wonder if it's been suggested? Or if we can even see other's battle stats? ponders

Hmm, definitely get some more AP. I think I used my psycho smasher, and two cobalt eternal scrolls. My weapons sucked and didn't have any dark, earth of physical blockers, so I just tried to chain freeze her using my anchor and rapier. At least I have an earth blocker now, so that will be faster. And if I get to t11, I'll have a dark blocker too. But I think you already have one, so it shouldn't be much trouble for you!

And it's not the same as a high score table - but you do still have pet rank which is sort of like a high score table. And I don't need to look at random people's battle stats, but might be interested in those with pets similar to mine - although usually we just compare notes on this thread - not by looking at their statistics pages.

Oh - I have books and boosters. So far, though, I have mostly only read the inexpensive books and I haven't been using any boosters or any EXP on Tos - all of her stats are just from training and REs. I do Shinwas quests daily and sometimes Quentin too. All of that stuff is in my vault. I'm starting to think it's time to at least dig out a bunch of books and spend a day reading. (I'm a huge book lover, so I started buying books on Subeta right away and was even smart enough to make a book category in my vault so maybe I'll even be able to find most of them. :-) ) She has gotten to the point where she might just need better AP to keep up with her other stats. Of course, once I do get the AP, I'll also need to manage to get some scrolls too. :-)

- I do have a dark blocker now that I managed to get a Gelatin Slayer but no earth or physical blockers for now. And my best freezer is Rapier of Error. If Nightlady is around for some time, we could probably work out a good time for you to borrow my Gelatin Slayer if you want (or you could ask to pull hers back out of her wardrobe if that works better for you). It is a T9 weapon. I own one cobalt eternal but no real freezing scrolls so even with more AP, I'd have some work to do. :-) I do have an AoN which might be helpful though. :-) It seems a little silly to buy freezing scrolls in order to be able to have a chance to win one from Nightlady so I guess I'll just have to see what happens.

More freezing scrolls can never be bad. In the worst case, you can just resell after you used them and got some from Nightlady. And thanks for the offer, but I'll see what can I manage with what I already have first :) Let me know if you need the OHS though, as you'll probably hit t10 by then. The AoN will surely be helpful too! Did you get your psycho smasher yet? You can get it by defeating GE 10 times, and it's possible at t9 :)

True, we have the pet rank. But it's not really the same. For pet rank, I only need to gain stats. For a highscore table on an opponent I need to spend a lot of time to beat them many times. To me, that contest was an incentive to beat challengers more than 10 times. Now it's more or less a waste of time for my tier 13 pet to go and beat Tide a couple of hundred times, because the exp gain after 10 wins in relation to the exp costs for a tier 13 is totally not worth it. And the few battle tokens, even though you can get some boosters with them, is not motivating me enough to go beyond 10 wins. I have to admit that when the highscore table was still there, I also didn't battle after 10 wins, until we had that user run contest. And in theory, we can still do a user run contest since we're able to see everyone's battle stats anyway. Still I'm a little bit sad about the removal of the highscores. I hope that sometime in the far far future, we'll be able to get it back somehow. Maybe only temporarily, for some site event? Anyway, looking forward to rewards or achievements past 10 wins! Gaining (or having a chance to gain) mod crystals would be a nice start! Maybe some forum titles for beating General Error 100 times; who knows?

Oh, if you have all the boosters and books saved, then yeah, it might be worth it to use a couple to get a bit more AP. Maybe you can wait until Morostide and see how you do against the opponents. If you need some more chain freezing, then it might be a good time to spend some intelligence boosters and books.

Maybe if another contest is held participants could submit their links and then create a high score table among them?

- no I haven't battled General Error outside of Battle Quests yet. It usually takes me several attempts to beat him for BQs so I have no idea how long it would take to beat him ten times outside of BQs. How do you even do that with a T9? It must take a whole lot of losses to get those ten wins. (Or maybe it's easier when you can chain freeze him. :-) )

Thank you - I will definitely let you know if I need OHS. I am not sure that I will be T10 (unless I decide to start boosting) but it's nice to know that's an option.

- it does sound like a high score table is different than a pet rank. But, at the top, you need more than stats to gain rank. I know someone who just capped her pet isn't at the top of the rankings.

Don't know about high score tables returning. But I do understand that changes are coming soon that will reward pets for wins past 10 so hopefully, that will be a good thing for you. We'll just have to wait and see what the new system turns out to be.

Well, I have the books and the boosters (I also used to restock at the Apothecary) but I don't have any freezing scrolls so if I do boost AP, I'll have to go and get some somewhere. has suggested battling General Error, so maybe I'll have to give that a try.

The Morostide opponents will be here soon. So I don't have long to wait to find out how things will go. And, of course, there is always next year. :-)

[edit] Okay that was fun! Battling The Huster, Tos managed to steal his Extremely Emo Spork with her UltimaPlus Tag. Since I still had both a Phoenix Quill and a GoTF scroll, I decided to heal and then use it on him while healing again. I really, REALLY enjoyed doing that. :-)

Well I used the Malhuili (which blocks two of his favorite icons) and the Rapier of Terror. Also equipped a few potions for the last 2-3 wins But yes, prepare to lose a lot :P It's well worth it though!

I would LOVE to see more battle related achievements, specially with titles. There are some challengers that deserve achievements, like Sandragon, the Mage, or the elementals.

Also maybe something for getting x wins against this year's CS opponents. None dropped any weapons at all, so at least an achievement could be made. And since they are subeta lands-themed, a title like "saved the world" would be nice

But anything battle will make me happy

- nice weapon. :-) I do have a Rapier of Error. When I battle GE for BQs I use Large Gutting Knife, Blessed Trident, Shinwas Short Sword, AoN, STS, Deluxe Death Shard (or the helmet - depending) and UltimaPlus Tag. Plus Aftershocks and GoTF. I also have space for either my Cobalt Eternal or my Perilous Whirlpool, so I guess I should start there. Sometimes it takes a dozen battles to get one win though - I can't imagine actually getting all ten if he gets harder as I go. Might be fun to try though. I don't often spend time battling permanent challengers outside of BQs so it's time for me to work on that a little too. In fact, I've been playing catch-up with some of the easier challengers and just finished getting Tos' tenth win against The Hustler.

Thank you! Yes he is still T9 lol but he has a high health build so that turkey quill really helped when it did 20% + heals. Once he is T10 I plan on switching to the pbow instead of the flail and I imagine he will have a much easier time then. I too am very stubborn haha. When I battled flamagia the first time with what I thought was the right set up, I came pretty close so I knew he could get one win.

Thank you! Yes he is still T9, less than 200 stats away from T10 though. The ice king gloves don't freeze so even though the flail barely freezes and heals, it still has a small chance to freeze. Better than nothing for me haha. It actually chain froze her a couple of times. I don't think I will have to boost Oranos to T10 by the time nightlady shows up. I am giving Verdugo all BQs this week because careapier is coming. After that though, Oranos will go back to having battle quests until he hits T10.

- any chance to freeze certainly helps. :-) I often make good use of Rapier of Error between that and the curse damage (but, yes, no heal). Good luck with Caeapier and with Nightlady.
