I was always under the impression that Battle Chat meant “a place where we chat when we’re battling” and not just “a place where we chat ABOUT battling”. 90% of the talk is battle related but we talk about random stuff too.

Battling definitely isn't exciting enough for us to be able to talk about it 24/7 :P

not only is he the one, he gives out 4 types of crystals, meaning you only have 1/8 shot at the one your looking for, and he is probably the hardest challenger in the game.
