Woof! Finally lowered my inhibitions far enough that I could trick myself into getting this one over with. Maybe now I'll have the drive to start genuinely earning money again, so I can rebuild my bank account to the 7-figure 10-figure (I swear I know math) mark.

In the meantime, I'm going to try getting serious about that castle...

Good morning! Instead of starting my day BQing, I decided to boost first! So far Tziety's DEF has gone up 150, while SPD is 30 stats in, and planning to boost at least to 100. Then I'll check remaining EXP, boost level so I don't have to train it, and see if I can boost some more, or wait until the 10th.... I want to spend my EXP before the reset XD

congratulations on Natasha! I'm still trying to re-gain the sP I spent on OHS a few months ago before buying that toy! Good luck with the Castle :o

Boosting done! :D Spent 608,000 EXP on 59 STR, 182 DEF, 183 SPD, and (unfortunately) 78 Lv.

Odd numbers are because I'm trying to keep my stats even until at least 3500 or 4000, and on round numbers :P

I want to use up my exp before the reset too. I have a bit over a mil and I can't decide if I want to dump out all in strength or speed.

Speed would help me with the castle, whom I can't get past a single win.... but then again, strength is always good.

Grats on the buy. I just hit 3bil and I can't convince myself to spend yet...... it would take me probably six moths of questing to earn that back if I went for Natasha

wow that's a lot of EXP! I think the most I've hoarded is 600k or so, but not more than 700k for sure :P

Yeah I've been hoarding for a while lol it's rough though because I hate having to do all of the clicking to spend it lol

Has there been any word on if EXP will be reset? I have two pets with almost 2mill EXP to spend.

Congrats on "biting the bullet" ! Now time to start tackling all those baddies with Natasha before the reset

Idk if I'll have the time/energy to get two more wins on the castle before the reset, not to mention that negating pylonics are so expensive rn which is killin' me here. Throwback to when the Apothecary didn't have elixirs and days that the Mystery Box had it as its shop were glorious days.

I also still hold out hope that one day we'll have a potions armory of some sort that I can dump all my potions and pylonics in and not have to reload after every fight.

Having a serious bout of nostalgia, getting caught up on battling with my littles. I remember when my main battler couldn't beat Jacques, and now my babies can beat him no problem.

I think I saved up 1.0b so when I bought the Natasha I still had some sort of saving. At least that’s what I thought I did. For a moment I thought Saggi’s quest asked you for a Natasha. Lol. Congrats.

this is the silliest of dilemmas... i'm checking my spreadsheet and trying to decide if i want to do as many battles as possible this weekend, or if i just want to try and farm a bunch of stat eggs from blood bat and mephysto... grillby managed a whole heap of wins i wasn't expecting, but he's also much further along than the rest :s

Speaking of exp, time to spend some on pet . Been trying to do the early BQs with him, but it's tedious and I rarely actually do it:

Pet 1 (321,610 exp): Level: 1081 -> 1081 (+0) Health: 7949 -> 8000 (+51) Strength: 5505 -> 5680 (+175) Defense: 3899 -> 3920 (+21) Speed: 2648 -> 2648 (+0)

Pet 2 (114,224 exp): Level: 434 -> 434 (+0) Health: 1146 ->1230 (+84) Strength: 1084 -> 1091 (+7) Defense: 1077 ->1081 (+4) Speed: 1077 ->1081 (+4) ,..and up to t8. Still a long ways to go.

Unrelated, any advice for The Mage? Up to 8 wins, but I can't seem to do kill him before he heals back up to full.

Ha! Thanks for the encouragement, everyone. I ended up going with a natasha/AU first half, natasha/ME second half, and it went relatively smoothly. A good few losses in there, but I wasn't exactly getting blown out of the water, so I knew I had to keep going. Natasha definitely made a huge difference.

That's the trap I was in, I could definitely afford natasha but I've always had issues allowing myself to spend. But I had a few honks of bourbon in me last night, so let's just count natasha as the most expensive impulse buy I've ever made :p

That's exactly what I did! I'd aggressively earned and saved up to 1 bil, then just kind of... stopped. I kept telling myself I'd earn extra so that I could buy natasha without sinking below the bil mark, but I had all of 1.037 B when I finally took the plunge. Maybe now I can go back to that "aggressive earning/saving" part of the cycle.
