Oh hey almost the same set I used... crept I used a mirrored shield cause I don't have the one you have. :D Also I really hope they put the STS back in the crystal shop.....
- I hope you got your five wins!
That would be nice, but I don't ever have enough crystals to actually buy anything there. :-)
You Won! You have defeated Flamagia 5 times! Flamagia drops: Flaminius Larva Captured Eternal Flame
You earned 7290 sP for beating Flamagia! SunDragon earned 2624 EXP Points!
Wooooo! Yeah! Negating Pylonic's for the crutch save on win 3/4 and safety on win 5 final turn. Purple Fireside Flame's adding that bonus damage for win 4/5 every turn. Really didn't think this one was doable but after Sun beat her in BQs a few hours ago I figured I'd try. Had to bank on her not freezing or critting first turn and for the Shrieks to do their duty, but that plus IEH and STS/AoN and RotL/PQ for backup safety nets made it possible. Sun's stats are in the same neighborhood now as when Kilroy first beat the Nightlady several years ago.
Man, I told myself I was going to be good and active yesterday. And then I came home from work and absolutely did not get out of bed. I tried to do my quests from my laptop, but only made it as far as Wizard. Really kicking myself for not even making it to Quentin, for the amulets. Bleh. Today will be better, I hope? I don't have to work until 1030, so I got like an hour and a half AT LEAST to get my quests out of the way.
Hope everyone is making the progress they hope to make before the reset~~~~
( I'm glad you got to borrow the weapon from Wesker. Good luck with it!)
bird and bear and hare and fish give my love her fondest wish
WOOT! Congrats for getting 5 wins on the Castle! Ack! 1 win shy of the weapon, will let you borrow mine if you'd like
Formerly known as Habeebi
Pacifist gained: 3 level(s) 3 strength 3 defense 2 intelligence 3 health points 3 speed points
Soooo close to a perfect tome!!
/edit Decided to buy a Iron Fireside Lantern because there was one for sale at a bit of a discount. Didn't get any bonus scrolls though, which is sad. Maybe Pacifist will do better after the reset.

No rush! There’s still plenty of time before the reset. I will probably change and go back to this shirt later because I can’t wear an outfit for more than a few days lol
I don’t blame you. Especially if you had to work the day before or after.
Yeah he wasn’t too happy about that, nor was he happy that I kept sending him into battle with crithbolcan. I finally had to rage quit. THREE TIMES I got him down to 3k health and lost so I’m still sitting at 4 wins. Apparently my castle stomping music only works when storming the castle :p
The dark potions at least drop as BQ items so I can replenish that way. All of them except for earth drop that way.
Thank you! I was shockingly surprised at how easy it was for him to get the 5 wins once I tweaked my strategy. Two of the battles I even ended with full healers still.
Congrats on your wins!
Thank you! Weapon drop, you mean the ballista? I got it on win 5! That’s when the item drops occur silly :D
Beat Crawbeast again today in BQs. He's surprisingly easy now that I have 3 freezing scrolls, lol. :P
So I have a stats training question...
I like things balanced, so I tend to train my pets evenly. Are there any problems with that, or is it just that it then takes longer to get the strength and health stats highers?
just wondering what your castle strategy was? If you don't mind me asking!
Hope all is well with the new job. supportive smile
Any advice on the extremely sore muscles/cramps? I fell like I got run over by a rhydon. Wait... I DID get run over by a rhydon -- the bastard fled. I know -- I have to quit telling myself, "It's not very far..."
Rhydon from Pokemon GO
It's really up to you, there's no right or wrong way to do it. I left my pet's stats to be even until I got up to ~2600 or so of each, now I'm training health and strength more with EXP and using the training center for defense and speed.
The benefit of training health and strength earlier is that you can probably beat certain opponents a bit earlier than you could with an even build. But there's nothing wrong with it if you like having your stats be even.
No problem! I just know that especially for some of the much more difficult Tier 12/13 opponents, it's recommended to have higher health and possibly strength first to take them down and withstand their attacks easier. But of course, if you don't mind waiting longer to be able to beat them, it's just personal preference. :)
I don’t think it becomes a problem until you face opponents meant for mid T12+ pets. I have a friend that has an evenly trained T13 and he would struggle on opponents I was able to face with my uneven T12. I started boosting health when my second pet was T6 and stength when he was T8. He’s been able to beat opponents earlier on because of it. However, he struggles with crit hits and I feel like that’s really going to hurt him later as some wins I get by pummeling my opponents with crits and not allowing them to crit me.
At some point, having more health just helps. You will eventually be able to beat all opponents with the right set, but boosting health early allows you to beat some opponents with overall less stats. In the end, there really is no wrong way to train unless you’re boosting level.
Thank you both. I think once I get the stats to around 2500 each (which isn't that far away at all) I'll give sticking to strength and health a shot. Maybe. I reeeeeallllyyyy like things being balanced. :D
These are the weapons I used:
Cronus, AU, Natasha, rblaster, soma, pquill, reviver and energized mecha.
Scrolls:
the void, aftershocks, cobalt (x3), fatal fire (x2), gotf, strong stomp and SE. First turn I always used AU + mecha with strong stomp. Then I would use AU + cronus until he ran out of all his disposable starter weapons. After I was certain he had no more starters, then I would double blast and block with the void. This way I was more likely to hit a strong infinite use weapon instead of a OPB weapon.
I used to use cronus + OHS for the second half of the battle after I blasted, but I found using natasha worked better since he also does a lot of fire. From there, I just kept attacking with cronus + natasha and healed/used a shard when I needed to.
Oh yeah, and the most important thing if I really wanted to win was to play my castle stomping music. Can't get a win without it
not the person who asked, but I just wanted to chime in that this is really helpful, thank you. I've been meaning to sit down this weekend and take a "for real" shot at Baenwurath ever since I managed to brute force a win the other night.
Although it bears asking, since it's been a while since I've kept up, what's AU in this case?
Also a general question for anyone keen to answer: Looks like PoBow is going for ~500 mil these days. Is it worth it at that price, or should I swing higher for Natasha? I'm in dire need of a serious fire blocker and have been since long before my hiatus, and I reckon it's time to finally bust open my coin purse and make good about that.
