Oh, I guess I'll keep batting my eyelashes at them even more in the future ;) I was thinking the increased chance of amulets would make a nice seasonal perk. Here's hoping the dick bear will take a shine to me as well, instead of turning all my amulets into shards as usual.

The Oracle is unimpressed by my flirting, so all she gives are levels. I'm not sure if this is better or worse than my abysmal amulet to tome rate.

Bad Horse reached tier 6 last night, and Brynhildr is getting close to tier 5! Neither of them will be able to take on Nightlady this year, but my hope is that they can next year. :)

Some days are just luckier than others. I got 7 amulets from Quentin yesterday, but only one today. It balances out overall. Congrats on your tomes, though! :)

I'll take anything I can get, which from Shinwa usually means a heap of trash :D I think my last reward from Oracle was level too, or perhaps the one before that. It's hard to remeber because I don't see her very often...

The Oracle never even calls back after eating that ham sandwich she had me bring her. As for Shinwa... I probably have enough laurels to make a hedge. I should sort through the boosters I have from her eventually and just sell off the ones I don't need/want.

Actually, I really should do the same. I just chuck everything in my vault, except intel boosters. Well, now on to BQs and then I should see whether Quentin still fancies me ^^

[edit] Nope, I'm old news now. Back to the usual 2 amulets per day. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Good luck with the battling! Everyone here is pretty friendly, if you have questions just ask. My starting advice would just be to look through the Beginner and In-depth Guides linked at the top of the Coliseum to learn the basics of how battling works and all that stuff. There's a useful links thread for this forum as well that has links to user-run guides like the weapon and scroll guides, if you're looking for decent things to add to your set.

I've found battling to also be a learn as you go kind of thing, and you've got friends here to help if you need. 😊

Welcome! And I can see you're off to a good start by working on your pets' intelligence. Scrolls can be really powerful early on because they're only limited by having enough alchemy points to equip them rather than by your tier.

Good luck on your journey. Hopefully you don't get locked in battling purgatory like some of us here.
