Unlocking Deadroot/Mage battle challengers

You're supposed to get the Deadroot Summoning Branch after defeating Decidiwi 25 times, right? I've just beaten him 26 times and nothing. The achievement doesn't seem to be in the list of achievements any more but it's not under the retired tab either.
Is this still available, and if so what did I do wrong? And if not, can it be added to the retired list please?
Edited to add the Mage - I thought you unlocked him by turning in one of each type of amulet, but I just did that and nothing happened. He's definitely not already in my challenger list.

Did you look under the Secret challengers tab?
The achievement is Killed a Kiwi and should be listed under Battle.

Found the achievement - not sure if it wasn't showing up or if I'm just blind. It confirms I've got it, but still no Deadroot Summoning Branch.
Still no sign of the Mage either.

When looking to unlock the Mage opponent, you have to turn in one of each amulets in the same go including the two newer ones. It's not retroactive. So you have to turn in all 10 amulets (not including the rainbow of course) to unlock him.
If you just got the achievement for the Decidiwi and did not get the branch, you can file a ticket and have them manually award it to you. I would do an account search beforehand to make sure you didn't stash it somewhere.

Hi - I know it's been ages, but I wanted to follow-up to make sure this was resolved for you. Did the above post by Destiny help? Or are you still unable to unlock him?
I don't even remember, lol. I think I had to try a couple more times to get Mage to work, and I think I decided that I must have sold the branch initially so I bought another one. Either way, I have them both now. Thanks.
