I'd love to try painting. Drawing has always been a hobby of mine, but I've never really tried painting (except for assignments in high school, and back then I was terrible at it). Sewing is also a handy skill to have :)

I really wanna learn how to create resin art and miniature models. I can't find any courses tho, so not sure where to learn :(

Miniature scenes/dioramas! I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos lately and they're amazing! I especially love the creative ones that NerdForge comes up with! She made an elf themed shelf waterfall that's super cool!!

I would love to learn how to do machine sewing; I primarily hand-sew but, while I enjoy it LOADS, I also want to make bigger stuff that won't take ages, like clothing!

I also want to get better at drawing humans. I've made a lot of progress, but I'm not where I wanna be with drawing faces.

I've been into model/diorama builders on YouTube for the past year or so (North of the Border, Studson Studio, Minibricks, Thalasso Hobbyer, etc.) and almost every time I watch a video, I wonder how much it would cost to stock up on enough supplies to make something cool.

When I graduated with my master's degree in 2020, I spent about $200 on painting supplies, but I only made about 6 paintings before the fear of mediocrity crept in. I need to pick that up again, but I'm about to start teaching at a new school - and teaching more classes/students than I've ever taught at once before - and I don't feel like I have the time. 😕

In the world of crafts, I want to learn how to sew using a machine rather than by hand, and I also want to improve in general at sewing, crochet, and knitting. I actually studied Latin for 10 years, and I have an honors bachelors degree in Latin, but I'm always looking to get stronger. I haven't studied formally since I finished school, but Latin comes up a lot in my social circle so I still get some exposure at least. I also studied Japanese for a while. I'm only at the N3 level and I want to pick it up again. I did a little bit of Homeric and Attic Greek while I was in college but I'm not nearly as advanced as I am with Latin

I want to learn to crochet. Specifically to make amigurumi stuff. I bought some starter supplies....now I just need to find motivation to start. Depression, anxiety and ADHD are real annoying when it comes to hobbies, lol.

I'd like to learn another language, ideally Japanese. I've tried several times over the past few years, but I just have a hard time sticking with it due to depression.

I'd like to get better at things like streaming/video making as well, but, again, depression makes it hard to get motivation or just even stay focused.

Oh, and painting. I love watercolor paints, and I've painted a few small, simple things in the past, but I really want to improve with it. I use acrylics sometimes too on canvas, and I've had a painting in mind that I've wanted to do for the past few years, but I've never gotten around too it because it just seems so intimidating to do. I put off looking up tutorials because I know I'll be like "man I could never do this" lol.

I would really love to learn to crochet. I can knit and sew, but for some reason, I can't get the hang of crocheting, even after watching many tutorials, lol.

I want to learn to make stained glass suncatchers and stuff! There's a local market where I am and someone sells really unique beautiful pieces.
