That's too bad about the sexes though. Unfortunately, I have little programming knowledge so I can't offer anything further in that area. I get the feeling that some things are so deeply embedded that changing them would mean changing everything - this is one of those, yeah?

Yeah, without saying too much, it has to do with how things are organized in the database. And well... you really don't want me messing with the database structure itself too much. I mean, that thing has all your data in it! :P

I understand the issues around sex and gender, and ideally we'd have a more complete separation, or maybe allow you to even choose which overlay you want to use for each item. But this isn't feasible right now. Remember also that our code is very old, before society became more conscious about the difference between sex and gender, so it's going to be a process to make our code account for it without breaking everything.

Sorry for the late response guys. I really try to respond to everyone here, it's tough though and sometimes I can't get everybody at once.

The next time this issue happens, open the javascript console (Ctrl+Shift+J if you're in chrome) and copy or screenshot everything you see there for me. This isn't an issue that I know of - you're the first to report it - so I think it may be a userscript or browser extension interfering. In any case the console should help if you see any output there :)

We had a glitch where some items could be mistakenly added to the wardrobe. Most of these items have since been fixed, but they'll still show up in your wardrobe if you've never filed a ticket to get them removed. Please make a ticket about it and a staff member will help you take it out of your wardrobe, and can forward it to the content team to make sure the item is fixed. Thank you!

:) I like your avi update. It sounds like you were sick recently, though, I hope you're feeling better.

I remembered you had made this thread recently, and figured this might be the place to mention this.
I just went to make a new avi (using Chrome, because I had had some layering issues in the past with Firefox that I haven't checked if they're working yet and....ahem! anyway..); and noticed I didn't have many classic instruments (like in the Held area). So went to buy some. I already had two of the Viola colors, and when I bought the other two I could send them to my wardrobe and they showed up right away (checking with different tabs). But when I bought the four Violin colors, none of them are able to be put into the wardrobe as it says I already have them in my wardrobe (which I don't, unless they're invisible). I even bought the Fidele Violin Bow and the Fidele Viola Bow, and they both went to my wardrobe.

I'm not sure what this goes under on the list of things needing fixed, but I thought I'd throw it out there. :) I can live without it for now, but it's a bug and you seem to understand them ;)

The thing is though, that it's not in my wardrobe, it's showing up under the "All Subeta Items" search, along with the Black Bauble Beanbag and the Kitmonkey Beanbag. None of those three things are within my personal wardrobe. If I should still file a ticket about it, I will, I just thought it was a wardrobe issue itself and not one with my personal wardrobe.

How odd. A couple questions to help troubleshoot the issue:

1. How did you try to add them to the wardrobe? (Like.. clicking the "Move To Wardrobe" button, or moving them directly from the inventory, or using quick stock)
2. If it was just the button that failed, try moving from inventory or quick stock.

If they are still not showing up in there, let me know the answers to these too:

1. Do they show up if you use account search?
2. Do they show up in your wardrobe if you set filters to show "All" in "Your Wardrobe Items"?
3. Do they show up in your wardrobe if you set filters to show "All" and "All Subeta Items"?
4. Do they show up on the Remove Items page? (Click "Organize Items" at the top when you're in the wardrobe to get there)

Huh. That's all right. Can you pass along what I said about the javascript console to your friends? The console output would be super helpful in debugging this, and it is not an issue I'm experiencing or can trigger myself, so I can't debug it without your help.

Oh, that's interesting. Thanks for clarifying! Go ahead and file a ticket and make sure to list the three specific items in it. I believe , and are the ones who can fix that (it has to do with item content, not code) so if you make a ticket it'll be forwarded to someone who can take care of it :)

What is weird is that it works perfectly on my phone. As always a headache to create HAs via phone with small screen and hard to move layers around :/ It's still won't let me use the filter so I opened up the javascript console and it outputs two errors..

Looks like jQuery is timing out, which would explain why the button is not working. It requires jQuery to work. What's unfortunate is that there is literally nothing we can do about it because it's not a problem with Subeta. We do not host jQuery ourselves, we load it from Google's CDN. This is the URL we use for jQuery on that page: https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.0.0/jquery.min.js

The error you posted means that it's timing out on the above URL. The thing is, Google is generally pretty good at web stuff so it's weird that it would time out for you. It makes me think it's an issue with your browser, but I mean, if you're using Chrome that also barely makes sense since Google makes Chrome too...

I recommend trying to open the URL above in your browser directly. Your browser should cache it after that. If not, make sure you don't have caching disabled in your browser, that you're in an area with decent wifi, etc. You can also try another browser if all else fails.

Ahhh yea google doesn't work in China where I am so I guess the filter thing doesn't work because I'm in China? It used to work tho here :/ like the past days...

Well, it's been using Google's CDN for a while so it isn't something we changed I'm afraid.

From my own experience living in China however, the wifi there can be really shoddy and you never know when the Great Firewall will catch up to you. So I'm willing to bet it's 100% to do with being in China unfortunately and I don't know if there's anything I can do about it.

(Tbh, knowing you're in China, I feel like you have it pretty good that things are working at all hahaha. Back when I was there, I was still on Neopets, and that was... pretty broken lol.)

Originally, I bought two from user shops then started buying from the NPC shop. I can forget what I bought recently, so I ended up buying all four from the shop as well. None of them had the option to put it in the Wardrobe. So, I went to my inventory. When I selected the item, it said (on the item description/placement page) that it was already in my wardrobe. (Which I find odd, considering I was looking at my wardrobe on another tab and they're not there.) Just now I tried quick stock, as I hadn't thought of that. With all four violins it said the same "This item could not be added to your wardrobe because it is already there."

Yes, they show up with account search (you know, it's entirely possible I bought these before, because I like them, but why are they not there...?).

(all on Chrome) Now I check on Firefox (then again on Chrome) and suddenly they are there. I don't get it. GHOST ITEMS! Got the doubling up item bug again today... I had just opened the wardrobe, and hit "clear all", to start a new HA from scratch. When I tried to move the eyes behind to the base to hide them, they started doubling... So I wound up with 6 eyes.... Closed it out and opened it again, and the bug had quit.

Then I accidentally closed it, so I had to open it again, and I got the bug, again with the eyes.

Closed it again, and it was fixed.

@ skydreamer ghost items?? i have those too! I swear to Shinwa that sometimes i'm 101% sure i have an item, but then i somehow discover i don't. it mostly happens with clothes.. not to mention account search told me once i had 2 of the same item in the wardrobe O.O but when i checked, i could only see one...and then upon another account search, it showed just 1 item in total. [don't ask me which item it was: i treated the incident as if it was a dream, so i forgot other details. just wanted to tell you you're not alone..] [edit] this is the 2nd time i have this 'bug' happening. trying to change my HA, and was searching for a headband. when i suddenly see 2 of Iced Hairband in my wardrobe. My account search also shows 2, and when i went to remove the item, also 2 appeared.

I have a few items in my wardrobe and I wanted to make sure that I got them all but when I click on any of them at the bottom it says “You don't own this item, why not Search Shops" I'm not sure if anybody has noticed this or if it is already on 's to do list, lol..

Yes. I tried to mention this in the convert note haha. It says: "Please note: The conversion may take some time. If you get a 502/504 error, refresh the page to see if it worked."

Can you let me know if everything else is working for you?
