Like most achievements, it would probably be pretty pricey for a while, but would hopefully settle down after not too long. (Hell, I think a lot of people would probably get bored.) Baking is pretty supply intensive, and requires so many bakes to level up, so I can see that as a major price driver.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there doesn't appear to be any alchemy achievements either? Perhaps the same arguments are also preventing that area from getting achievement love.

Yup, I agree to those points, especially to the one about getting bored! lol I just hope they do something with the feature at some point but I'm pretty patient. xD Maybe we'll get something in the summer? I'm also an eternal optimist. lol

I don't know about the alchemy achievements but you are probably correct.

Aaarghh! Many of Manwar's Neugarten items look so bakeable. It's gonna cost a fortune.

Didn't we get those wedding cakes last year for Emma/Esther? Also some Morostide items. Those were probably last. So 8 months?

I actually really thought we would get some new wedding anniversary type items. Like maybe leftover wedding cake recipe or something. You know how a lot of people will eat their 1 year old cake that s been frozen or something? Also, I have to tell you how amazing your HA looks!

And yeah, there have been plenty of opportunities for new recipes. Stuff for the year anniversary, or survival stuff given Fantine's involvement, or even this holiday with vegan fare. Alas.

Also that "save the cake for your first anniversary" thing is weird. Who wants year old cake? And who has that much freezer space to spare? We ended up freezing a hunk of cake after the wedding simply sure to not finishing it, and not wanting it to go bad during the honeymoon. Didn't get around to eating it for a couple months out of laziness. But a year? Nah.

Oh yeah, forgot about those... just seems like it's been a long time I guess. :)

I agree, I've never found the year old cake idea appealing. Usually home-frozen (not freeze dried or flash frozen) foods tend to lose their flavor after 3-6 months. I purred and froze cubes of berries and within 6 months they didn't taste very good. Same thing with my frozen granny smith apple sauce, it began to taste store bought not homemade after about 6 months (it lost it's natural tart flavor due to the vit c breaking down over time).

Probably a dumb question, and apologies if it's been covered (I couldn't see it on the first page, but that doesn't mean it wasn't staring me straight in the face) - is there a top baking level you can get to, can you just keep on going forever?

This information is not on the front page of information. ^^ I should (soon will) add it to the FAQ section. As of right now there is no cap to the level you can achieve (that we know of). Essentially you can keep baking and leveling up as much as you'd like.

No problem - you are very observant! ^^ Yes, I had much the same hope in mind as I continued to level up. I eventually got bored of baking hundred of items to level up though... lol Maybe one day soon we'll get some more baking items, we definitely need some!

yes! New items and achievements, please! Baked goods are always decreasing in value, so it'd be nice to get some worth for the SP we're dropping on ingredients.

If anyone needs some help baking items let me know. I will bake an item for you if you provide all the ingredients on the right side of the page for each cake, plus honey and vanilla.

I'll also offer up my help baking! Looks like I never quite finished up T17, but I'll get there soon (62% done). So any items though 17- just provide the ingredients!

I'm happy to see new items added! I have 4 baked successfully. Working on the cake pops now. I'll have to bake some extra stuff to quick jump up to T18. But I have a whole stockpile of ingredients to help!
