Ooo, I was thinking about getting some of those! My sister uses a stainless steel straw, but it just never feels fully clean even with the brush. I barely ever use straws, but I'm noticing my hot coffee habit isn't going great for my teeth. How do you feel about them?

My very last order was craft supplies for work which isn't very interesting, but before that...a unicorn plushie. I'm a little obsessed lately.

i've been really enjoying them! i haven't had any issue keeping them clean, though if i'm not able to clean them right away after use, i'll usually let them soak in hot, soapy water before scrubbing with the wire brush.

i haven't used the straws for hot beverages yet, but since their material is very conductive the temperature of the drink will transfer to the straw. while i haven't heard of anyone burning themselves from drinking a hot bev out of a steel straw, i'd be a bit cautious if the drink is super duper hot!

overall, i now have a collection of four stainless steel straws and i love using them at home for smoothies and tea, and on the go at cafes and restaurants! i've gotten a few compliments on them, as well :^)

Ahh, that makes sense. I'm probably just not cleaning them well enough, and the coffee remnants end up in the straw. Old coffee bits are the worst. I should probably switch to cold coffee, haha.

of course! it's certainly worth the investment. the straws are fairly cheap yet durable, and the store i ordered them from offers them in rainbow, rose gold, and black variants! the carry pouches and wire brushes are separate, however.
