Thank you so much!! It was kind of you just to spare a thought - nevermind a gift! My day was good: some stress/general negativity amongst my family, but(!) lots of berries, one of my favourite dinners (even though I had to make it myself -v-~), and my gifts were the best ; ; Thanks again ❤️ ❤️

1st--
wanted 2 thank yall 4 the well wishes & the gifts i was rly touched ;; my inventory is full of dino things & it rly cheered me up after having 2 deal w/the reality we facing which feels kinna like i stepped into a surreal dystopian novel

idk if this is the right place 2 put any of this & im srry if its not; i just wanted everyone 2 know we are safe as we can be, & that i appreciated all the good thoughts & 2 explain why i wont be around much 4 a bit until our power is more stable
the short form is that the whole state is still a bit of a mess rn; atm at least 5 mil ppl are still w/o power, according 2 what i heard on the radio a few hrs ago; the power companies have had 2 truck in at least 10k (i think that was the figure? my hearing is so bad) workers from out of state from various other areas so they can get 2 work on rebuilding what got smashed; no one was expecting ALL the power supply areas 2 get hit at once, so that even backup didnt help
& its expected 2 take at least another wk or more to regain it 4 some of these folks; longer 4 others
including us i guess, bc our power is questionable still
basically: irma smashed thru us but good
me & my family are safe & sound though! so i guess this turned out 2 be the most bad-ass of survival days 4 me even if i wouldve preferred a different birthday event--i mean, i can say now that even nature cant get me 2 kick the bucket i guess lol

Yeah, Irma really did a number on the power throughout Florida. I feel lucky that I got power as fast as I did. I hope everyone else gets their power back soon, :/
