Ok so overlay for HeadDesk. She is basically the pet representation of me... She is a forlorn and moderately depressed working in a call center, but at heart she is super fun! (Everyone at my old job bought me Rainbow Dash stuff because they said that was what I am like lol, hence the nostalgic hikei)

I was hoping for a pose similar to the chibi hikei, but think Eeyore, ya? She should look a bit frazzled and OVER IT.

The only real "customization" thing is I want her to be wearing a headset like in a call center, similar to the one Natasha from the Blue Building uses :)

That's the pose all right. Maybe a little more hunched over/head a tiny bit lower but maybe not. Whatever you think looks right as you progress. When you get on to detailing the face make sure she looks disgruntled as hell.
