Is fond of dark eye makeup, so she always looks sort of angry. Personality: She's somewhat aloof, though she wishes she were a little more open. In reality, she's just very socially awkward and as such, she puts on a hardened, distant facade to protect herself. She's generally a decent person though, and doesn't go out of her way to be outright rude or mean to people, although she has been known to do some underhanded things to get ahead in her goals before. She's very determined in most situations, though her spirit is easily broken by failure, leading her to be rather angsty and lamentable. She is a hardcore perfectionist, so any mistakes drive her crazy. Typically, she bounces back quite easily from her defeats though, after she goes through her conventional cycle of self-pity. If you somehow befriend Marcy, she is quite loyal and helpful, almost to the point of being overbearing. TLDR:Awkward, emotional, distant, devoted, perfectionist Bio: Marcy is an only child, born to two rather wealthy parents, Olivia and Henry, who both work for the Ministry. Her father works in the office of foreign affairs, and was often away in other countries as she was growing up. Her mother is a court scribe for the Wizengamot, which keeps her busy for long hours, and sometimes even at home. Marcy wouldn’t say that her parents were neglectful though, just busy. She had a lovely childhood, just that most of it was spent alone, or with the nanny, which likely led to some of her social awkwardness now. However, being lonely and bored most of the time led her to pick up her hobbies of drawing and baking. She discovered she had a knack for baking at quite a young age, and her father would often bring her muggle and magical cookbooks from all over the world when he came home from business trips. Marcy quickly learned to combine her two skills and would sketch out designs for new cakes and then set off to actually bake them. She was easily sorted into Slytherin, as is traditional in her family. Goals: Marcy plans to open her own magical bakery one day, designing all of her own sweets and building recipes from scratch.

She wonders sometimes what she's missing at home. Being at this school for a few years now she's gotten used to the differences between the worlds, but some things still surprise her.

There was a quantity of magic here that sheathed these lands and pooled in the hollows of the wild places. It flowed in the mist over rivers and streams and lay heavy in the fog of the mountains. Chrysariel felt it surge with every heartbeat and was astonished that so many people she had met denied that magic even existed. How poor their lives must be!
