Event runs until 11:59PM on July 2nd, Subeta time.
You can buy from multiple Trucks at the same time, becuase of course you can.
You can buy one item from one Truck at a time. Just click on what you want on the sign! Then, you are given the option to purchase. 60 20 minutes wait for a Basic account. 45 15 minutes wait for a Gold account. AND, each Truck went from taking a Gold: ~7 hours | Basic: 9 hours to buy it out To Gold: 2.25 hours | Basic: 3 hours! Wow!
If you want to buy every item at every Truck, it would take: 5,775,550 sP & we have ~1 days left for the event.
If you're interested in these achievements, or might be in the future, (or want to make some sP) just prioritise these trucks: Lets Taco bout It Pasta Goddess Tater Time and buy the other items from the user shops OR wait until the item is released again...

I've seen some people saying in the news post that the old secret menu items aren't working. I'm not sure if that's supposed to be the case though.
Did you get the items back in 2014 if you were around for the original Peka-boo event with the food trucks? It could be registering that we've already gotten the items before.
Just thought I'd share, the clipon mustaches work as well!

Hmm you know it could be possible. I don't fully remember.
I haven't tried to get the old ones again myself, so I'm not sure. But since it was still requiring us to have tickets at first, it could be some code that wasn't updated to let us get them again.
Also here's how to get all of the old secret items from the previous event:
Meatosaurus Truck
Obtained by visiting Meatosaurus while wearing a Mortiking item.
Hipottu Spice Truck
Obtained by visiting Hipottu Spice while wearing a Hipottu item.
Sweet Stuffed Truck
Obtained by visiting Sweet Stuffed while wearing an Eddie Bell item.
Veggikumora Truck
Obtained by visiting Veggikumora and donating a Ikumoradeekanox fruit. (Note: only older fruits seem to work since this item was added like 3 years ago.)
Wok This Way Truck
Obtained by visiting Wok This Way with chopsticks in your inventory.
Lets Taco Bout It Truck
Obtained by visiting Let's Taco 'Bout It while wearing a mustache.

- i had trouble with this one, it didn't like the masquerade mask or the balloon. worked tho
Frozen Swirl Shake - visit Sweet Stuffed while wearing an Eddie Bell item
- i tried the kebab wig and it didn't seem to work, so i wore stuff from sundae best and sweet tooth
Sun Fruit and Basil Juice - visit Veggikumora and donate an iku tree fruit
- i used oofa fruit, bc it's cheaper than most of the other fruit
Hmmm, I tried wearing the Hippottu and Eddie items I have; nothing (I also didn't get the secret items before, I don't think). Maybe mine are too new?
Edit: Yeah, the older items work, just tried what Jensen said and the trucks gave me the secret items.
Yes that one and the fruit one are older items. the only new ones are the Mac & Cheese and Pasta items since those are the newer trucks.
The Peka-boo event was 3 years ago though, so there are probably some people who are new to the site since then or were on hiatus during that time or something. As far as I can tell, the old food truck item menus haven't changed at all.
Maybe? I'm not sure, I asked about it in the news post, when I get a response I'll post it here.

It seems like there is an issue with people who got the items before then, because I'm using items that people said worked and it's not letting me get the old ones again since I got them back in 2014.
I'll see if I get a response about that getting fixed or not ~
Having Pickled Clams in the inventory works for the Linguine alle Vongole as well.

Yeah the Pasta secret item seems to allow any item with "clams" in the name. Pretty sure the mac & cheese item specifically requires that Cheese though, because I tried with a few other cheese items and it didn't work.

Btw - the Eddie Bell Oishii Wasabi Slippers don't work (for whatever reason), don't know if it's just that item or that particular line, though. Will confirm the sundae meringue hat works!

The only one that wasn't working for me was the Eddie Bell items. I tried two different ones from the LoliPOP line (the shoes and the shirt) and neither one worked. I know for sure I didn't participate in the last event because I didn't have Internet access that summer and missed the whole event last time. :(
