Thanks for the makeup day but I only missed yesterday because I suck at coding and had no idea how to post a pic of food. My favorite food for summer is WATERMELON! I'm most looking forward to not having to chauffer the kids to and from school and a more relaxed atmosphere.

I am most looking forward to the two weeks I will spend trailer camping, one week of it at a festival. Swimming and friends and workshops and live music!

june 24: i've not got anything specifically planned this summer, but i'm just embracing the general vibe/mood of the summer months - hopefully it'll be scorching hot! i'm just looking forward to drinks outside the city bars w friends and making the most of the longer evenings and spending my days off work walking my dog tbh

I look forward to vacationing, going to the beach, and being outside more.

June 24th Haven't missed any days so...

What I'm most looking forward to this summer is finally getting a new job. I've been unemployed for a couple of months now and I'd really love to be called in for a volunteering thing I signed up for but an actual job would be even better. Also looking forward to going to the beach for the first time this year. Got a couple of new video games coming out that I'm excited to play AND I might get a car before summer ends (depends a bit on the job thing).

I'm most looking forward to the 8 days next month I get to spend in Florida with my bf. We're in an LDR and I'm hoping to move down by next year completely. But we wanted time to see each other so that's what we're doing.

He's taking me to the beach and we're going to watch the sunrise over the ocean together. :)

June 24: I look forward to the other Quest-a-Thon that we're supposed to be getting this Summer as well as spending time with my family. We went on vacation last year, but I don't believe we have much planned this year. Which is fine, of course! I just like spending time with my family ^-^

I missed two days, so I hope it's okay if I shove them both in one entry.

June 21: I don't know if I would call it "relaxing" but The B-52's Cosmic Thing always kind of makes me think of summer and hot weather. A lot of the songs have a "summery" feel to them or talk about hot weather (Love Shack, Roam, Dry County, Bushfire) and a lot of them are very chill and kind of feel like "relaxing in a hammock on a hot day" (Deadbeat Club, Topaz, Follow Your Bliss).

June 22: Outfit Not Found I couldn't find a backdrop that would layer properly so I hope this gets the point across. I love wading in the ocean. I can't swim worth a crap (especially in water where there's a current) but I will one million percent roll up my pants and go in up to my waist. XD

June 24th: I missed June 21st Book /album day: I couldnt really think of any particular ones that seem 'summery' except I love hearing the beach boys more on the radio.
I'm also catching up on a few Stephen King books I missed, the one I'm reading now is called 'Blaze' its very good, quite sad and set in the middle of a winter snow storm lol.

I misssed the 20th entry. Looks like my summer name is Flippin Sea Bass!

It's going into winter now but I just started my break! I'm looking forward to finally catching up with my friends. I've become a bit of a hermit lately. x)

Outfit Not Found

I used to hate theme parks, until this one time I went with my two friends in high school and they, unlike my family, weren't pushy or trying to trick me. We tried out some roller coasters and...I found I enjoyed the ones they recommended. We also happened to find a way to sneak onto the beach and caught a firework show that night too.

For me, that's the fun part of vacations. Spending time with people that you like spending time with. (Though having amazing hair like this HA has wouldn't be a bad bonus.)
