Summer Book reading "The Lucky One" na Nicholas Sparks.

Tove Jansson's Summer Book is wonderful, absolutely recommend it!
Honestly, I don't have any summer book. When I have read a book, I put it on the shelf and the likelihood I'll read it again soon is very low. (since I'm way too good to remember what happened and sorta spoil myself x.x)
For the hot weather some light romance stuff is always nice :D I really love the Walsh family books written by Marian Keyes! (and for more cliché try Katie Fforde LOL)
I read all year long but if you like fantasy/adventure books, I highly recommend reading the Lightbringer series by Brent Weeks. They are fairly large books, but a good read. Brent is a great author with great character development and plots.
The Notebook.
Loved the book and the movie.
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.
Ocean Conservation Namibia on YouTube... they do good work! https://www.ocnamibia.org
I don't have a summer book or series, I tend to go back to my old favourites currently I am hoping to get the new fitz and fool book by Robin Hobb,
I have been a slacker on reading recently... And as for music I am much more into making my own mixes. But if you want a good summer mix, any good cruisin' classic rock song will do
A personal favorite is Silva's album, "Vista Pro Mar" (Sea View). It's entirely sang in portuguese and it has a strong base on the sound of the sea.

I don't know of many books or musical albums. The only summer thing that comes to mind is the Beach Boys, and I don't like their music much. Maybe if there was an album full of wave sounds? I love the sound of waves.
Sorry that I'm so clueless about this.
- Thank you for the ping! :)
My favorite summertime reading is the Hobbit by J.r.r. Tolkien.
I love rereading the Wallflowers series by Lisa Kleypas, it's a romance novel series. The very first book is called Secrets of a Summer Night, and it gets you hooked right away.
I would like to entry with Bartimaeus Sequence by Jonathan Stroud. The summer just started, so there is time for more than 1 book.
When I've first read the book, I was about 14, but it is still just.. woah! It has daemons, mages, and fancy runes in an alternate London. Bartimaeus the most epic djinni ever, funny and smart, and Nathaniel, his master will be a great mage.. one day. Fortunately Bartimaeus not just smart, but a bit melt-hearted, so they are great duo, to solve the mistery of amulet of Samarkand.

June 21: Recommend a favorite summertime book to read or a favorite relaxing summertime music album.
The music album I recommend for summertime is Kindred Shadow by Pogo. It came out 2 years ago and I remember listening to it all summer long that year. I still listen to it! He creates songs from samples, especially from things I know from my childhood so everything is incredibly nostalgic.
June 21: As I don't usually read books, although I'd really want to read the graphic novel 'This One Summer' by Mariko & Jillian Tamaki so that's on my bucket list this summer!

For summer albums, I'd say The Far Field from Future Islands is the summertime album for me this year. Another would be Two Vines from Empire of the Sun. Both really great!
May he Rest In Peace. Such a talent.
I recommend any 24/7 "Lofi hiphop" video on youtube to relax to.
I don't read or listen to very much music. I hope this is ok I would like to recommend Summer Lovin' from the Grease Soundtrack
June 21st I don't really read much so I'm gonna recommend an album that is super relaxing: "Night Swim" by Josef Salvat ~ Good songs for a calm road trip or just sitting by the pool at dusk ;)

On summer holiday, I usually like to reset my brain by reading only detective novels, so the first book that comes to mind when I think about good summer reads is Agatha Christie's classic Poirot story Evil under the Sun :)
Hmm, a good summertime album (in my opinion) is anything upbeat and fun to listen to with friends. So I would suggest something from the Black Eyed Peas xD
Recommend a favorite summertime book: Well I don't really have summertime reading that's different from year round reading. If I want lighter reading, I usually just end up re-reading old favourites. I'd recommend the Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMaster Bujold. There are a couple of places to start, the book that was written first, Shards of Honor, or the one I read first, The Warrior's Apprentice. Either one works well as an introduction to the series. Note: my genre is Science Fiction.
