May I present Midona, waiting at the portal to leave for another world, trying to seek greener pastures. She lost her parents, her brother and her dearest friends in the great Bevorian war and the sole companion left is her beloved rat Merem who rides on her shoulders most of the day. In her bag, Midona carries Mathilda, a tiny ladybug with special talents who can talk via telepathy, conjure simple magic and is able to create all kind of pictures from Midona´s past for her to see again. Besides Merem, the little flying beetle is Midona´s greatest treasure now, holding all her memories between her teeny wings.
