“Aww, Merlin, thank you so much,” Stella said taking the offered snack and juice, “so sweet.”

Magnus nodded. “Such a neat ‘at isn’t it. Wonder if I can get one.” When he said that, one landed on his head. Stella winked.

Stella beamed and hugged Gaia. “Hello darling,” she said happily, “I am so happy this came together so well. We should be leaving to the locker room soon. Yes, Eros is very handsome. Just okay at quidditch huh?” Stella smiled and giggled. “Well, us girls might have to teach him some new moves huh?” She ruffled Eros’ hair lovingly.

When she saw Aria, Stella gave her a hug. “Oh I’m sorry darling, I only signed Magnus’ form. You don’t mind sitting out here why we all have fun, right?” she cackled and played with the girl’s hair. “Of course you can, sweetheart.”

What an amazing experience. Although, stumbling over myself when we arrived was somewhat embarrassing, I am hoping everyone else was busy trying to hit the ground better than I did, heh. I hope when we travel back I will have a better bearing when I land.

Gah, I am so excited! I've only ever watched Quidditch matches at school, so seeing a professional Quidditch game is going to be a dream come true for me. I will have to be sure to thank Mrs. Lee () when I see her!

Will you introduce me?," Eros replied with a slight, crooked smile at Gaia. However, he cringed a little when Magnus' mom ruffled his hair. Oddly enough, he was cringing at the idea that they might have something to teach him and not the hair touching. At this point, he wasn't even bothering to fix his hair. "With all due respect, don't be surprise if it's the other way around," a cocky smile formed on his lips briefly, though quickly faded. It was another one of those moment when he thought about his mom. In a span of a few minutes, he was getting more affection than he ever gotten from his mom in years. He forced a smile again as he waited for whatever they were waiting on.

Stella watched as the students settled from the portkey. She was happy she waited long enough to let them feel more comfortable before going into the locker rooms.

Stella chuckled at Eros' comment about meeting the other girls but her face went to a frown when the boy cringed. "Oh I'm sorry," she said, "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." She backed away a little and blinked a few times willing herself not to cry. "I'm sure you can teach lots dear," she said in a slightly strangled voice.

"It's just...I," he paused. There was just things he didn't talk about and his own personal issues was one of them. "It's fine," he shot Stella a reassuring smile. "A lot of things make me uncomfortable...because I'm not use it, I guess," he tried to explain without going too much into detail. "But we don't become better by always being in our comfort zone, right? "

"I understand. I just love anyone under twenty, so I get all huggy and so on. I'll try to reign it in." She smiled. "Very true, very wise."

He knows last time we played he got lucky" with a wicked grin she added "besides there is no other girl like me." She shrugged and hugged Stella "I'll take another hug. Don't worry about Eros he just doesn't like girl cooties." She let out a laugh and went to Eros side. She was ready for some game action.

After Stella signed Aria's permission slip she embraced her. "Thanks mom," She whispered with a soft laugh. Aria really appreciated the love her adoptive mother showed her, it gave her hope in the possibility of other humans who could be kind.

As she walked away from Stella, Aria looked over to Magnus and smiled warmly. "I'm so excited! I can't believe you knew all about this and I didn't." She commented to her brother. She shrugged her shoulders, "Suppose it doesn't matter anyways - I'm here now!" She laughed while scanning the group of students who'd gathered. It was an excellent turn out, she thought to herself while nodding.

Stella smiled at Gaia. "I love competitiveness so you both feel free to trash talk." She giggled. She happily snuggled Gaia again. "Well the only thing that would rub off is the awesomeness of woman power." She gave a slightly crazed laugh.

"I hope you have a good time darling," Stella said.

Magnus shook his head. "But I didn't. I was just as stunned as you are. Only found out right before the portkey. Mum's sneaky."

Aria looked at her brother in with a silent surprise 'Oh' perched upon her lips. "I had no idea that you were not in the know. I thought you and mom had conspired together about this." Aria nodded and looked over at Stella, "She is quite sneaky and good at keeping secrets."

He shook his head. "Nope, I knew as little as you did." He smiled. "Yeah she is. Still its an amazing surprise."

"Gaah! Invigorating is not the would I would use" Sam Sputtered, nearly dropping the green harpy's quidditch robe she was trying on.

Aria sighed softly as she walked to the table with treats on it and took a cup of punch to sip. She really wished that Dax had come along but he had insisted that griffins are too dignified to use portkeys. In reality Dax was just terrified of using portkeys for some unknown reason. Smiling, she shrugged mentally while looking through the food for her favorite treats and snacks. After seeing some frosted sugar cookies and cups with fruit spears, she felt like she had hit the jackpot.

Mingling near the refreshment table made it easier for Aria to watch all the people who'd come and see their amazing game day apparel. Some of the folks here were as enthusiastic for their preferred team as Aria was, a fact which made Aria quite happy.

Callista Zabini had been characteristically quiet most of the day. The invitation, coming from classmates she didn't really yet know, had been a complete surprise. She wasn't the social butterfly most of her siblings and cousins were, that was for sure--they'd all been betting she'd be the first Zabini to end up in Ravenclaw, but she'd surprised them.

Callista knew you wore colours to Quidditch games and fortunately she had plenty of green in her wardrobe, but at the last minute, she'd decided to magic her hair (which was usually black and quite curly) to match. Now she wondered if that had been a bad idea--would anyone even know who she was?

She smiled shyly at Aria, also hanging out around the refreshment table.

"Hi. I'm Callista Zabini. Isn't this great?"

Aria noticed a new face standing near the refreshment table. With great curiosity she watched her until the girl noticed Aria's stare and met it with a shy smile. Aria blushed and smiled at the girl, as she introduced herself. "I'm sorry for staring at you Callista," she apologized. "But I did not recognize you and was trying to make sure it was because we hadn't met and not due to me forgetting you. My name is Aria."

Aria sipped her drink and nibbled a cookie, feeling rather shy and her usual awkward self. "Do you enjoy Quidditch?" She asked Callista.

"It's okay! I charmed my hair green, and it doesn't usually look like this. I'm not surprised people don't recognise me. It's nice to meet you again, Aria. It's not like we've talked much, outside of things like 'please pass me the powdered marmoset bones' in Potions..." Callista laughed softly. "Quidditch is entertaining, but I think what I like best about it is watching with everyone else. Especially in Slytherin. We all have our own ambitions and agendas, and the idea is to help each other achieve them, but in the stands we all want the same thing, to win of course. It's fun, and you can let yourself get carried away a bit, and nobody cares."

She leans in a little closer. "And the Harpies are all women, which is also great."

Aria's eyes widened, "Oh my goodness! I love people watching too, though I must admit that I enjoy Quidditch a lot!" Aria smiled at Callista. "It really is amazing how we can have class with someone but still hardly get to know them." She shook her head while thinking about the fact that she really knew very few of her classmates.

"I am also rooting for the Harpies because my mom used to play for them!" Aria nibbled her frosted sugar cookie some more and took another gulp of her punch. "I really hope the Harpies can pull out a win this time!"
