Sam gripped the clothing rack, and pretended to be interested in the items on it while she shook off the effects of the portkey. Once the waves of nausea passed, she grabbed something green at random and looked around. Looking around she realized what Mrs. Lee was saying, and gasped in excitement.
"Your mom is the greatest!" She exclaimed as she hugged Magnus with fierce glee.
"I'm gonna get some Harpy facepaint" She said, barely remembering to sign in before bounding over to the face-painter's table. Outfit Not Found
(OOC.( thanks for the ping, just got back from a week camping with no phone, TV, or computer, so I'm a little behind on things))
"I haven't either, Merlin (). My favorite team is the German National Team"
"Thanks Magnus (). My dad sent me yellow and black so I just decided to roll with it" she laughed. "Plus, I can wear the robe while sitting in the common room"
Millie turned her attention to Sauvage () "Look at you getting into the spirit! You look wonderful!"
"Yea they will have to imagine how it was like with our rambling." Merlin giggles.
"It looks fabulous! Green is the best color, I totally approve." He gave her the thumbs up.
"Love the painting! I prefer not to wear any but it looks great."
"I really don't have a favorite team since I'm new to liking Quidditch so maybe today I'll have a favorite."
"I love it!" Magnus said giggling when she asked if there was enough green. "I don't think you could have much more, but its really nice."
Magnus laughed when Sam hugged him. “Isn’t she?” he said with pride as she skipped off to get her face painted.
“Oh you look wonderful, Sam,” Stella said beaming as she saw the face painting, “As do you deary.” She looked at Sauvage.
“This is Sauvage, Mum,” Magnus said introducing her to his mother.
Magnus nodded. “It works out well Millie.”
Stella gave Millie a mock frown. “Tsk, tsk, you’re in yellow.” She giggled then and said, “It looks great. I hope you have a wonderful time. Are you a hufflepuff then? Oh I had lots of Puffles as friends. That’s what we called them in my year.”
Magnus giggled. “I’m sure they’ll be able to reconstruct it. I wonder when we go back to the locker rooms?”
"Thanks! The witch told me it'll light up and sparkle whenever the Harpies score! Sounds like fun. I can't wait for the game, I've never seen either team play before. Sam grinned at , "You look awesome! I definitely need myself s'more green stuff. The Sweetwater Allstars of Texas have always been my team, but the Harpies are great. How can you not love an all girl team?" As she headed back to the rack she paused to chat with Millie. "I overheard you've traveled by portkey before? Tell me does your stomach always want to turn itself inside out, or can you get used to it? I sure hope so, 'cause I'd rather ride a muggle boat again, than go through that, if it's as bad on the trip back."
"My family eez not very eenterested in Quidditch, so I am not as familiar wiv all zee teams, but I certainly 'ave a bias wiv zee 'olly'ead 'arpies, because of Magnus. I am so excited because zis eez my first ever game zat I am going to see live!" Sauvage jumped up and down in excitement and couldn't stop smiling, even if she tried.
As Eros let go of the mop, he felt a bit disoriented. He took a few seconds to get his bearings before noticing the grand stadium, eyes widening a bit from excitement. Quidditch was one of the few things that made his eyes light up, although nowadays, he was starting to find more and more things that had that same effect. Going ahead of the seer and her father, he made his way over to where a table with a sheet of paper was and signed his name.
((ooc: sorry, been busy, work and life stuff so limited online time))
Having only travelled by floo powder and side-by-side apparation, Elizabeth found herself not liking the dizzy feeling travelling by portkey caused. Especially because she had let go of the portkey a bit too early, causing her to float in mid-air for a short moment before finally reaching the ground, probably not as gracefully as she had intended. Hoping nobody had seen that, she adjusted her position and made sure Muir was well, too. Once the dizziness had worn off, she navigated towards the clothing rack. There wasn't that much left, but she managed to match an outfit she liked. Elizabeth disappeared for a moment to change and then came back. As she couldn't decide for which team she should cheer, she had chosen to combine both colours, though green obviously dominated, but she couldn't help it. The cloak had been to tempting and she really loved that colour.

Taking a look around, she had to admit that the atmosphere was amazing. Elizabeth had been to some games when Pride of Portree had played, but over the years, she had seen less and less games. "Thanks for making this trip possible, Ms. Lee", she said as she finally approached the small group of students and adults. "It's been a while since I've seen a quidditch game. And I think I never had seen it from top box.", she added amused.
( (and anyone else c: ) Thanks for the ping, I was stuck in homework and lectures xd )
"That sounds like fun! Should I watch your face instead of the score piece? Surely it would be cool to see." Merlin giggles.
“Ooh I’ll ‘ave to take a look and see how the makeup works, that sounds pretty awesome,” Magnus said to Sam.
“That’s cos they are awesome and me mum played with them. I ‘ope you enjoy it Sauvage.” Magnus was getting very excited.
“Mum,” Magus said pulling her to Eros, “this is me friend Eros, ‘e’s wonderful at Qudditch.”
“Hello,” she said with a bright smile, “I’m Stella, nice to meet you. Magnus says you are wanting to play professionally? And you designed an amazing course, he keeps raving about it.”
Stella smiled at the girl. “You are welcome. I hope you have a lovely time. Oh, what a sweet snake,” she said.
(can we get a ping for wizarding please)
Eros straightened up his posture as Stella greeted him. He briefly looked to his lycan friend before flashing a smile at the boy's mom. "Hi, ma'am...uh, Stella," Eros corrected himself figuring that since she introduced herself as Stella, that's what she wanted him to call her. He was still getting use being on a first name basis with parents. "It's an honor to meet you," he said, as he extended out a hand. "I can't imagine doing anything else. It's what I dream about at night," he smirked faintly, answering her question. "I don't really have a backup plan."
"Designing a course isn't all that impressive. The challenge is getting through. And well, Mags aced all the courses," Eros looked over to Magnus. He didn't mention the parts where Magnus got sent to the hospital since he wasn't sure how much Stella knew. "He's impressively agile," he looked back to Magnus' mom. "On top of that, he's an okay-ish friend," Eros rolled his eyes, pretending to admit begrudgingly.
Stella was beaming. “Oh aren’t you sweet." She shook his hand and then pulled him into a hug. “I feel like I know you so well. You’re very handsome. I bet you have lots of lady friends. I know what you mean, it’s all I thought of myself. I still work with it even after I retired from the game. And if it’s what you dream of, then it will happen. I bet I can get some scouts to take a look at you.” She was smiling so hard her mouth hurt. “Very true, but he told me it was tough. I believe he had a visit or two to the hospital wing.” Stella waved him off before he could apologise, at least she assumed he would. “Did he tell you I crashed into his father when I played for Ravenclaw? Sent Barty to the hospital wing for a week. We know the healers really well.” She laughed heartily. “I’d absolutely love to try your course.” She nodded. “I agree, he’s got a lot of potential for quidditch.”
Magus blushed as she fawned over Eros and hoped he’d be okay with his enthusiastic mother. He laughed at Eros’ rolling of his eyes. “’Ey, it’s okay I’m not a pretty Ravenclaw girl, no way could I compare to ‘er.”
The hug caught Eros by surprise. He had always been sensitive about physical contact. He especially didn't get a lot of full on hugs. He suddenly felt very warm, and it only got warmer when she mentioned he was handsome. After the hug, he recomposed himself and rubbed the back of his neck, trying to hide how red he was. Eros didn't get embarrassed a lot. If it had been Gaia or anyone else, he would have been cocky about it. However, he wasn't accustomed to hearing a parent saying something nice about him since he had very little interaction with any other than his own parents. "I don't know," he choked out the words. He never really paid attention to girls. To him, they were a distraction. Gaia had been the only exception. If he had lots of lady friends, he certainly never noticed. "I think you'd lose that bet, though, since friends are a new concept to me," he confessed.
His eyes glowed with interest when Stella mentioned scouts. "Really? That'd be great, thank you," the excitement obvious in his grin. "It would certainly help a lot. I mean, I'm doing fine on my own, but the more attention I can grab, the better." If there was something Eros did well, it was showing off. The grin faded a bit when they talked about Magnus and the workshop where he got sent to the hospital. Eros was ready to apologize but she somehow knowingly halted him before he could. Instead, he was treated to a story about how she crashed into Mags' dad.
The redness from earlier returned when his friend referred to Gaia. "Wow, I am really pumped for the game," Eros immediately changed the topic. "I hope it starts soon," he added, totally ignoring Magnus.
Stella was all stars in her eyes. She thought he was totally adorable and wanted to pinch his blushing cheeks. “Focusing on your sports then, huh?” Stella asked, “an admirable trait. I’m even more sure you’ll get on a team. From the way Magnus tells it, you’ll have your pick of teams.” She nodded. “Absolutely sure. I have a lot of friends. As I like to say, ‘I know people who know people.’” Stella smiled to him. “I like that you are confident but also willing to take help too. You know, you are welcome to come over any time. We’d love to have you. We could play two on two quidditch and trounce Magnus’ and Barty’s team.” She cackled. “I’m highly competitive.” When he blushed at Magnus’ comment Stella wanted to hug Eros again. She allowed for the change of subject though. “I’m looking forward to the game too, I sure hope its close. I love fast paced well matched games. Merlin’s getting really excited too.” She hugged Merlin. She loved being able to fawn over so many.
After Stella hugged Merlin, he hugged her back but had no idea what was happening, he hasn't been paying attention to the conversation but was observing all the people getting there, their costumes, and behavior - it was something worth watching since some people seem very funny to him. "What happened? Is it starting?" He haven't seen Eros and waved at him. "You made it, I thought you stayed behind at the pub with Gaia." Merlin smiled but got back to observing, he suddenly had his attention on food so he went to the food table and grabbed a snack. "I'm always hungry, it's ridiculous."
"I have a favorite team and I support them when I can but I also don't pay much mind these days. Between school and working in the bakery, I don't have much of an attention span."
Millie smiled at Stella () "Yes, I'm a Hufflepuff. That's so cute! I may just have to get that started again. I think my dad sent a yellow sweater because it's an on going thing with my family. My mum is a muggle from Germany, so while she has a pretty good grasp of the magical world, she thinks all our clothes should be our house colours. A large portion of my wardrobe is yellow and black and a large portion of my dad's is blue and bronze. She means well but we sometimes tease her in fun
"Hi Sam (). We use portkeys regularly depending if my mum is traveling with us. She's a muggle, so she would rather travel by train or boat. It does feel like my stomach is doing sumersults. I've gotten better though. I used to throw up when I was younger."
((sorry for the delays. I've had a hectic couple of days. All should be good for the rest of the week))
"Not yet darling," Stella said. "Go get some food, Merlin." She smiled sweetly.
"I had so many Hufflepuff friends. That is a really cute story," Stella said with a smile to Millie
"Well it's understandable with so many things in your head, but it's always important to have time to relax, everything can't be work."
Merlin brought Stella a cookie so she too would enjoy some food and a glass of juice. "Here, don't want you to get hungry with all the work."
He then went to Magnus and smiled. "Did you see the guy with a spinning player on his hat? It was so funny. It flies around the hat and scores."
"Seems I am missing key information over here!" Gaia had left her dad to join the group of her classmates. "The party started without me." She grinned and hugged Stella () "You are amazing. This is awesome! As far as girls go..." Gaia looked at Eros () and winked "you could say girls fancy him. He is handsome, smart, and an okay Quidditch player. What more could a girl ask for?" Gaia laughed.
(Sorry I haven't been around. Things have gotten a bit crazy.)
Aria felt a bit queasy from the use of the portkey but it passed relatively swiftly. She took a few uneasy steps and then found her way to the festivities.
She was excited to root for her mother's alma mater the Holyhead Harpies. She wanted to get her face painted in green to be sure everyone knew what team she was rooting for. Aria walked up to the sign up sheet and signed her name.
"Mom, it's ok that I participate right?" She asked with a wink to her mother, Stella, already know that she would approve. ()
