She;s off meds for 2 weeks, then she goes in for more blood work, then the vet will decide if we do an even lower dose, but she thinks any lower dose won't treat it anymore. Hopefully the food will work. =/ But she didn't even mention the food during the appointment, which gives me the impression that she's not hopeful with that.
That looks perfect, thank you! <3 I think I do prefer the white wings. Since they're actually a part of her, I think it makes more sense that they're the same color as her fur. The gold is beautiful, but white is more Enyah.

- Sorry I'm being so slow. Work has been insane (and will continue to be this week) but I just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten about you! I'm actually going to revisit the sketch a bit because I'm not 100% happy with it. As soon as I have something to show, I will let you know!
- Alright, so... I decided to do a complete overhaul of the sketch 'cause I really wasn't liking the direction of the other one. Lemme know what you think of this sketch.
I like everything from her head up til just past her bottom (and the fin at the bottom), like love love! The tail between her bottom and the fin looks a bit funky though, like... it looks almost eel like to me, which just contradicts what I'd imagine a mermaid tail to look like. In my head, the tail should bend somewhere at where if she had knees underneath the scales... I hope that makes sense and isn't too much of a pain to change. Other than that, I love it! <3
Its better... but could we maybe do something like This? this link is an old OLD horrible crap art of mine (lol), but its kinda what I have in my head for the tail. (So rotate the fin 90 degrees, and straighten the tail between the "knee" and the fin.) You don't necessarily have to have the same length or angle as my old art... like I said its crap art xD... just... maybe straighten it a little?
(I feel horrible... like I'm picking apart your art >.< D: I'm not doing it on purpose! :()

- Did you just want it wider at the base of the 'knees' or did you want the creases eliminated as well? I'd sketched the creases in to make it a bit more natural looking since in nature, when stuff bends (limbs and the like), creases are formed due to the excess skin. If you want the creases gone I can draw it like that, it just won't look as 'real'.
The creases are fine! I just wanted it a bit wider there at the base of the knees. :)

- Got the lines and flats done: click! Let me know if the colors need to be adjusted (especially the tail since I'm going from description on that). I know the tail is iridescent but, can't really make that happen until I shade xD
Now that the colors and lines are down and I'll be moving onto the final shading, any changes that aren't mistakes (like me forgetting something of Llyra's design) will incur a fee. Being the art is a free prize, I don't want to get bogged down with it when I have other commissions on my plate now.
