Prodigy is due for a poking. Last time I managed to get it down to about half health with some dumb luck. That was maybe.. mid T11.

Haha I first beat him with some dumb luck too. I think I battled for 2 hours straight before finally beating him. After that I've skipped him in BQs until this day LOL.

Since I'm lazy I won't bother with that much effort unless it looks like there's reasonable chance of winning.

Oh I meant I used my free skip for another challenger. Luckily he hasn't showed up twice since. The first time I tried to beat him was exactly because he showed up twice and I didn't want to lose that 3,500 EXP.

I think I got him down to 9,000HP or so. I asked and he said I was close. He said if I tried a little bit more perhaps I could beat him. I was so close to giving up but then I lucked out and my Frostbite Amulet chain froze him for 4 turns in a row and he was dead XD. I still skip him for another challenger though. His crits can be in the 7,000s-8,000s and I'd rather go with someone I'm certain I can get a quick win.

Oh, I had figured that you had blocks for that an enough defense/health to soak the damage.

Yeah, I had planned to pump up my Strength but I noticed during once during those fights that he critted me for 5,400 or something, so I had to change plans and invested into my health instead :( Frostbite Amulet doesn't have heal so I suffered a lot (and still do against Prodigy).

Do we have any definite info on a gellie war this year, or are we all still waiting for news ~ stuck in gellie-hell?

I haven't heard anything, although it seems unlikely that they would do it during the holiday season. So if we don't get one soon, we may not get one at all this year.

And there's supposed to be a Quest-a-Thon this month too. I wonder if there's even time on the schedule for a gelatin war.
