Welcome back to Subeta! The system changed for inactive accounts, so that they are no longer purged, but after a year or so of inactivity, an account's names are free to be taken by active users, but should the inactive user return, they get a free name change to some other available name (instead of losing all progress on their account in a purge) - make sure you check out Personal > Dashboard for any unclaimed loyalty boxes you may have as well c:
