Hello! Well I'm a full-time student majoring in English, so I'm trying to become a teacher. I've been on this site for years, but took a long hiatus for a year or more. I'm trying to get back into it. :)

Since I cuss a lot of the time I worry that my parakeets will say...stuff that shouldn't be heard in polite company. I've seen videos of parakeets speaking words so I believe it might happen with mine. Not counting on it, thoughXD

welcome to subeta - loving the username, by the way! was it inspired by a certain something or was it just a nickname you picked up along the way? anyways, it's wonderful to have more animal lovers on the site (i imagine that makes up the majority of us, though i wouldn't question that someone on here despises animals irl and only enjoys the pixelated ones, haha). would love to hear more about your dynamic duo! i also hope you are able to get a dog soon - i'm all too familiar with your circumstances; and going to school only makes it harder.

dog training is wonderful, and one of the most fulfilling jobs there is! i do a bit of it myself, though only as a hobby (basically for friends/family only, and for free of course) for the time being. however, i am looking to pursue a career in it once i have relocated and settled down. i also dabble in grooming a bit - my first job was actually dog grooming! i wish you the best of luck with school - and if you need help with anything (training, schooling, subeta) don't hesitate to send me a comment or a mail!
