We are not going to give the ability to gift pet slots that users no longer want. It&;s a feature that could easily be abused, or cause a lot of negative feelings among people that want more pet slots - there will be fighting and resentment. And the popularity contest that mentioned. For a feature that we provide, we want it to be as fair as possible in that each user has the same pet slot expanding opportunities.</p>
