We've been friends for years and is one of the only people I still talk to from back then and every time we talk it is like nothing has changed and we are the same 15 year old girls from back then even if we have slightly changed as people. I also like to stalk her life on twitter so I always feel like I'm still up to date even if we don't talk that often. She is a rad girl. Event 6: Okay, so background! Bear with me, this is super duper hard to type out. My husband had some very, very serious issues with depression a couple years ago, to the point where I thought I had lost him. He left a note, and he was gone... I called the police, thinking it was already too late, and that the next time I saw him, it would be to identify him. It was a night of pure hell. After months, maybe even years, of his depression, while he was out that night - it was like the fog lifted for him. Suddenly he had the will to go on again, he came home, and got help. The memory of that night, despite it being just over two years ago, still gives me nightmares, and I still have panic attacks when something hits too close to home or there is a break in routine when he leaves the house. He is totally fine, though! For him, it's almost like it never happened, hahah. I told him how proud I am of him, that he's come so far, that he's stuck with everything, including his job - he couldn't hold one down for a couple of years because of the depression, but he's stuck with this for over a year and a half. I also told him how very much I appreciate him and everything he does. I have GAD, and it's pretty severe, so I'm unable to work. He's our only income... And yet, for the first time in a very long time, we actually have a bit of extra money in the bank account. It doesn't need to go to vet bills, or the rest of our bills (paid for the month!), and just. He deserves all the praise rained onto him forever and ever, and he frequently gets it, but this was a great opportunity to do it again. And because he is so perfect and lovely and iuahtilatuaiua, he always returns with "I couldn't do it without you" and that my time is just as valuable as his because the pets wouldn't get the life they deserve without me staying at home and spoiling them while he's gone. He's honestly the best. <3
