My greatest gift story as a reciever on Subeta was when I got randomly gifted from Cathii (I think I am allowed to share her name here) when she wasn't feeling well and wanted someone else to feel better... She's such an awesome artist (in fact, even without knowing she is so kind she has been my fav. subeta artist) and has a great personality as well! ^_^

I don't have a specific story to share as a gifter, but I love to randomly anonymously gift people when I feel like it. Most of the time we haven't even talked once, they just made a positive impact on me for whatever reason.. it feels nice to be nice xD ^-^

Let's see... My best gift ever... I'd have to say that's actually a pretty recent one. I just recently went through my wishlist and sorted out some of my favorite items into top and high priority sp and cw lists. Apparently someone noticed and wanted to do something nice for me, so they picked out a couple of backgrounds that I ABSOLUTELY love from that wishlist and sent them to me! They're so beautiful! You can see one of them in my current HA. :O

It's actually gonna be nothing specific really. My favorite/greatest gifting stories are when someone notices you're having a bad day or aren't feeling well and then send you a get well gift pack. There have been several occasions where I've been sick and had friends (and sometimes strangers) notice and be like "here's some things I thought might cheer you up" and I think that's one of the best things. I try to keep an eye out and do the same when I catch it as well.

My greatest gifting experience was from my friends, they sent me a guy dressed in cupid to do me a prank and it was simply hilarious! We then had a party and many many gifts. They made me laugh so much, I would never forget it.

I think the best gift I ever got was just this past Luminaire. I'd been off site for a while and out of the blue got an e-mail reminding me that Luminaire was getting ready to begin and to make sure I collected my gifts every day from Melody. One of the friends that I'd had prior realized I was back and gifted me several WL items as a welcome back. It was totally unexpected and lovely surprise. :)

Oh gosh let's see I would say my greatest gifting story as far as giving goes would be when I had several extra subq items and sent them to random people that had them on their wl. I know it had to have made their day!

As for receiving gosh so many choices I would have to say that would be when sent me a few wishlist items. They were items I had planned to buy at a later date, but then I woke up to finding them in a gift box and that was cool of her! <3

I do have a bonus story, recently there's been an ongoing user-run-type plot and oh my gosh whoever this anon is is sooo amazing. They have given us choices to make and have really gotten us involved in the plot. They are extremely creative with this story and have been sending us things on our wl and even made a cw for it that they sent to all of us. I have no idea who this anon is, but my gosh they are awesome! To be honest, I would've just been happy with the story itself, everything else has really been a major bonus.

The one gift giving that really stands out in my mind was during the Peka-Boo event. My birthday happened during it and well I was having an absolutely rotten birthday. The band I was supporting, several of the members, surprised me with gifts. They didn't have to, we weren't friends at the time, but they did so anyway. Something as simple as Lemlem (because I collect them) really meant so much and brightened up an otherwise lousy day. Their thoughtfulness really meant more than I can possibly say. ❤️ Every time my HA is wearing something rain or lightning themed I still think of them and smile. :)

I have a lot of great gifts to pick from, but one of my favourites has to be my birthday gift from last year. I got all sorts of wonderful presents (because all my friends are crazy and I love them all), so I feel kind of bad picking a favourite one. But if we're being honest, it was the first one I could think of at the moment (other than Cathii's Slytherin gift bag from two years ago).

My fav gift receiving story would have to be from a few months back. A user was quitting the site and had some lovely cws they were thinking of giving away because they wouldn't be using them anymore. I happened upon their forum topic and noticed they had which was one of my most wanted CWs of all time and an item that I missed out on buying by being a few minutes too late a couple of months before. Someone had it in trades but I was too late to offer. It kinda broke my heart a bit when it happened because it was an item that wasn't up for sale too often and so I kept telling myself "if only I had gotten there a bit sooner, I could have snagged it."

So I mentioned that to the person in passing and the next morning I woke up to an alert telling me that they had sent me the skirt. When I messaged them they told me that they did it so that now I wouldn't have to be upset about having missed out on it before. It put the biggest smile on my face and I'm still not over their generosity and kindness. <3 ;_; They were so incredibly sweet to do that for me. ❤️

So during Luminaire, I happened to post in my forum group PinkBuns that I love advent calenders and that if everyone completed a small task daily they would get a small gift under their trees.

Then on December 1st I receieved an Anon gift with a load of WL plushies, saying it was day one of my own advent calender!

Each day had gorgeous penguin pictures, lovely things that made me feel super loved, and hints to who it was....

Every day was a WL item, from plushies and beanbags, to not only some of the most expensive wearables in my WL, but also three CWs!!!! A beautiful wig, a Zelda themed background and bunny glitter ❤️

On the last day I guessed who it was and it was my wonderful friend !

Now what is more heart warming than that ❤️

Although I know now that it's the type of thing subetans do all the time, when I came over from neopets I was swept off my feet. There was a user, I don't remember the name now, giving some pets up for adoption. She wanted to make sure they went to good hands, and she seemed to like my plans for her, so she gave me Brigette. I had told her I wanted a full Legeica account but I wasn't yet decided on the color, so I was surprised to find her treasure full of a bunch of Legeica elixirs of every color. I now try to be a worthy subetan and give people more than they expect.

Entry for Gifting Story: It's actually a much longer story but for sake of space I will try to shorten it. My mother has a severe back condition (she finally had a surgery that helped some, this was before it) some days her pain was so bad she could only lay on the couch for days and she talked about how sad she had become not being able to do any of the things she liked or even really get on her computer much and etc. She played a lot of those find the hidden objects computer games that kept her entertained when it was bad, but now it was so bad she couldn't even sit up enough some days to play them. I kept trying to talk up the Nintendo 3DS to her because I've used handheld consoles forever and I thought she would enjoy being able to lay down and play her games but it just wasn't something she would spend money on for herself and she would brush the idea away. And I love the Animal Crossing franchise and I thought she would love New Leaf and that way she could also sort of be social through it and play with me and some friends and etc. So for her birthday gift, I saved my extra money back from my job and I bought her a Nintendo 3DS and a copy of New Leaf. I wrapped it up like one of the balloon gifts in the AC games that drop (a square white box with a big red packaging bow and I attached a big red balloon to it for good measure). I told her that she wouldn't understand the box look now, but she would eventually. She was very thankful and she absolutely adored the game and she was able to play with both me and my aunt (who got the game after mom talked about it so much). It really kept her occupied on her worst days and she said it really helped her get through them. Her surgery has helped her a lot though she still has bad days, just not as many. But she still to this day plays New Leaf on her bad days. [I have longer version posted on my Tumblr if anyone wants to read you can throw me an sMail! It has a picture of the package too!] =)

Greatest gift story as a receiver - I had gotten a very thoughtful (and generous) anonymous gift, I checked B&C and I wasn't the only person bombed by this anonymous gifter. This was when the old forum searches still worked. I used the writing mannerism in the message and managed to find the anonymous gifter, but I swore to secrecy because I was the only person that had found the gifter this way.

To this day we're still friends ❤️

My greatest gifting moment... I don't think I have one in particular but every Lumi, whether it be through Mysterious Melody or with a good friend, I looooooove gift wars. Spamming people with gifts and then receiving the gift spam and the retaliating is always a lot of fun. <3

My most fun gifting story was the year I did "the 12 days of luminaire" for 12 friends. It was something I started as kind of a spur of the moment thing and didn't really think it through to completion from the outset, haha. I don't even remember what the items were but they were nothing spectacular, just fun stuff. And honestly, by the 9th day or so when I was buying 9 multiples of 9 items they probably got even less expensive! But it was so much fun! I think I might need to do that again some day ;)

My greatest gifting story is something that happened very recently. On my birthday this year (Feb 22nd) and the day after the super sweet upon learning it was my birthday gave me a free slot on her CW and then the day after as a belated birthday gift went ahead and made a suggestion of mine a reality and because of that we now have the lovely on site ^_^ Prior to that she surprised me this past Luminaire with a copy of her in my stocking. Several wonderful surprises from a wonderfully sweet person ❤

So this was when I was trying to get more cw's/csc but I was broke for sp and I was trying to get 700 csc or 600 csc and only need a few bit sp but instead a nice user by the name of gave me a lot of sp which I used to get more of the csc intended and they also gave me items also which was so nice of them as usual was so in awe and thanked them :)

I think my favorite gifting is when I got spoiled rotten from a dear friend at Lumi....she saved up all of her boosters and amulets from the whole year and stuck them all under my tree. I had over 200 boosters and like 250 amulets. She has already claimed she is doing it again this lumi.
