similar to samm's dress with butterfly drapes, i put this one together for the wedding and i think it's pretty cute Outfit Not Found + + + you can do other colorways, too -- more if you're not as picky as i am :) i liked these two the most, personally + + + + + +
I've found a way to use Long-haired Guinea Pig Toy hair extension from this year's Vesnali items!

This is just a stupidly nitpicky thing but I really love these flats:

Layering the Nude Polka Dot Flats (or any recolor) under the Base gives any shoes on top a nice touch. Sometimes the shoes might not have much of a curve so this rounds them out a bit, and even adds a slight heel if the shoes happen to be flats. It works with a lot of items on the Feet layer too.
The ones in the examples, from left to right, are:
Nice info! I like how it gives the ballet flats and brogues a small heel
On my current av, I have on top of to make a kind of 'man bun' with some curls in the front :)
It looks nice with a few of the Curious Little Dolls, too!

WOW that's genius, the hair tuft is so hard to use. Thanks!

Will sell soul for :')
Just made this HA the other day and wanted some fancier hair, so I layered the Windswept default hair over the

i really wanted to use thin piece of sidewalk with the new bricks, but i realized you could see the brick overlay peek out from under the sidewalk and that bummed me out lmao but i poked through the wardrobe for a bit and found a decent workaround, at least until i find something i like more + + / + a background the deep sea glass hides the bottom row of bricks and gives the appearance of a street gutter, more or less -- if you want a 'road' you can add under the sidewalk and above the sea glass but that tints the whole background s: & you could also do , if you needed a streetlight effect for whatever reason
[edit] is a cheaper alternative to and both work just fine to cover the gap when layered under (mold perfume even kinda gives it that bumpy asphalt look)
Here are some of my tricks when it comes to layering:
For eyes: + or any of the colors leads to a really nice combo with lashes, eyebrows, and a really vibrant eye. You can also add for a winged liner. These together look like this: Private Outfit
Actually the works really well under a lot of eyes.
For hair: One combo that I really like is + which leads to a bun that looks like it's held in place by three needles, which is pretty nice. It looks like this: Private Outfit
For chest: Items like work well under shirts with low shoulders like and adds a nice undershirt look.

It's no secret that is awesome layered over other lips, but I just discovered the combination of this over To me, the cece lip balm looks a tiny bit slanted where it's higher on the left side looking at the avatar, and I find that the delish bask lips have that same slight tilt. This combo preserves the shape of the cece lip balm and the delish lips behind it create this slightly prominent but still nude/neutral lip effect.
edit: These lips also appear to me having the same slight tilt so try these under the cece lips as well [edit] over makes the hairstyle longer, extended white to blue ombre.
Okay, I have a couple others now

Awsome thing here. I was wondering if you guys could help me. I've always loved the Elegant Butterfly Mask, but sometimes I liked to hide that poffy part under a backdrop and still see the mask on the face part.. But now the new background don't have the body cut out anymore... any ideas on how I can still achieve that?
My fave recent realization is that when I want to layer two hairstyles but the bottom one covers the ears and the top one doesn't, I can layer the Fae ears in between them. Example:

Also just in general it's so useful being able to layer stuff below the base. I came back from hiatus kinda recently and I seem to recall that we didn't used to be able to do this, but I could be wrong.
