The big one is probably Game of Thrones, I think I stopped somewhere near season 4. It was not a bad show, but I had trouble getting attached to anyone. So the show became a lot less entertaining when you didn't care who died or not. Besides, I might be the only one who didn't like Jon Snow?
Also Vikings, I used to love this show so much because I'm very interested in the viking culture. Sadly I couldn't get past the few episodes in season 4. The show had gotten pretty badly written and rushed to me. I might also be biased because they killed off most of my favs in season 3. Even Floki won't save it for me.
I'm seriously thinking of dropping The Walking Dead this season, even as a Daryl fan. It is getting too repetitive and boring. I want to drop Gotham too, because I don't care for anyone anymore besides the Penguin. But I will still try to endure the show for Penguin.

I actually thought the HIMYM ending was perfect. I mean, there always had to be a reason why he was telling the kids the story, and it tied everything through all of the seasons together. But anyway...
I got mad at basically all of the CSI's, because they just got so ridiculous... I quit watching Miami after someone died with an ice pick to the ear, in a fit of rage, but with absolutely no damage to the ear itself. I mean, really? The chances of that happening are about a kajillion to one. The murderer would have a better chance of winning the lottery five times with five tickets. And about the same time, they had a tornado episode, where the tornado was completely ridiculous, and in an area that never has tornadoes. I mean, I'm from tornado alley, and I've seen my fair share of tornadoes, and their version was completely messed up.
I got mad at Vampire Diaries, because they put so much effort into Stefan and Elena being truly, perfectly, forever, match-made in Heaven in love, and then all of a sudden, she was cheating on him with his brother... I mean, if she even had a trace of self control, she'd refrain from that. If she really loved either of them, she'd choose not to mess that up so much. I mean really...
Let's see... I quit watching some of the NCIS's after they killed off old characters I liked, but in the end, I restarted again. I'm tempted to quit again, because of some new losses and replacement characters, but I keep telling myself I'll eventually get used to the newbies.. Dunno, though.
I quit watching Supernatural, because I got bummed about how rough some stuff was. I mean, everyone eventually deserves a happily ever after, but their lives are just so much worse than anyone should ever have to make it through...
I quit watching Grimm because I don't like how every creature is automatically evil. I mean, if there really were other creatures, I'm pretty sure at least a few would be good! It's like racism, but against supernatural creatures...
I quit watching DiNozzo's new show (Is it called Bull? I forget...) almost immediately, because I don't really like his character, and I don't like how it's all about cheating the system, and not really about whether or not the people are guilty.
I quit watching Van Helsing, because I don't like that it's supposed to be a vampire show, but it's more of a zombie show.
I quit watching The Walking Dead because I hated how unrealistic the first episode is. Honestly, in a hospital, where almost everyone died, and that was so completely overrun with zombies... There is no way someone in a coma winds up coming through because one tiny little cot is pushed in front of his door. And, if he DID manage not to get eaten, there is also no way he wakes up and is okay. I mean, he had to have continued to lay there for ages for the hospital to be that cleared out. He would have starved or gotten so dehydrated he would have died long before the day he wakes up in the show. And if he DID come out of the coma, he would have been emaciated, his muscles would have been weak, he would have had difficulties moving well, and the zombies would have gotten him really easily.
I quit watching Dexter, because right from the beginning, it was fairly obvious how the story was going to have to end. And once he found the love of his life, it got even more upsetting, because there were so many people in his life who were going to be hurt when the story came to its necessary end.
I've quit watching so many different shows for so many different reasons... I also regularly quit watching a show a few episodes before the finale, and wait until the show is a few episodes into a new season, because I hate it when they hit you with a horrible cliffhanger, and then leaving you hanging for half a year...

I think the worst TW show was Pretty Little Liars, first and maybe second series were good, but then it has begun to be more and more stupid. I have seen the newest epizodes and there were horrible.
Fear the Walking Dead. I just can't stop comparing it to TWD and everything bothers me. I dislike each character in it, so I thought it best to just drop it.
wow, I didn't know CSI sucked so much, that's sad
also, ty for the info on old people dying in NCIS, I was considering watching that, don't like it when they kill off established characters continually, had enough of an issue with Bones and that was like two characters
I have a habit of giving up on most TV shows I watch. Not because I don't like them but because they're on in America and I catch up on all the episodes showing in the UK then it's a really long wait until the rest are shown and I forget/lose interest. I did it with Mindy Project and New Girl and Big Bang Theory. Big Bang Theory is repeated ALL the time here but there's no real order to the episodes they show and they repeat the same ones all the time yet never seem to repeat the new ones they've just had on.
I gave up on Doctor Who. I really lost interest last series and found myself lost most of the time and I've not seen any of the most recent one showing in the UK.
I've dropped Orphan Black, TWD, Supernatural and Doctor Who. I just rewatch Lost, Dexter, old Doctor Who and The X Files.
I do watch The Strain but it's sort of annoying and Hannibal has been cancelled but fans are doing their best to wait until they can talk about renewing the show for season four.
Oh my god The Vampire Diaries, tell me about it! I dropped it pretty early on tbh, right when Elena got with Damon, cause i honestly just can't stand his ass. In what world is pairing a girl with the guy who tried to kill her little brother because she rejected his advances a good idea?? Honestly??? Maybe he's gotten a little nicer in more recent seasons (I wouldn't know), but there's just a few things you can't ever excuse and revenge-murder over rejection is definitely one of them.
Another show i dropped (I actually drop most shows hahah) was Teen Wolf, I loved it soo much at the beginning but really it all just started going downhill around season 3b and around season 4 the writing was just downright crap to the point where even Dylan o'Brien's pretty doe eyes couldn't save it for me anymore and that's saying something, lol
Will sell soul for :')
A lot of the shows I dropped I find I either lost interest in, or there were just TOO MANY EPISODES and I gave up on trying to catch up altogether.
Okay well, I was never good about catching new Doctor Who episodes and I got into the series pretty late (around late 10 - early 11 years) But for some reason, I just stopped caring after 12 was introduced. That and I grew distant from the one friend I would talk about the show to + depression soo I guess it just became unimportant to me. (Don't worry I'm doing better these days. Not cured, but better!) I still feel bad though because I have some doctor who clothing but now I feel like a poser wearing it. >_<
The Legend of Korra. I actually watched this until the end of the first season. But I never picked it back up again. I think once I stopped going on tumblr (I have a bad experience with that website. It wasn't good for my mental health) I never really heard about it again and It hasn't really been priority to pick it up again. ( I know, fight me.)
Any anime. I TRIED. I tried to watch anime in like, the 5th-6th grade. But anything I tried to pick up had 200+ episodes already and I just grew tried of it. I'm not entirely opposed to watching it again but it would really have to be something that appealed to me.
I also stopped trying to watch pokemon after the diamond/pearl series. I just had a persona; beef with black&white at the time, and the show was moved to a time too early for me to catch.
Yeah, and some of the last few Bones deaths were heartbreaking... :/ Some of the worst ones ever...
I mean, yeah, they did make a big show of him softening up and all of that, but still... But I totally agree about not liking him much as a character, and maybe that's why it made me so mad, too... I don't like his personality, his excessive anger and dark broodiness, his extra violence (and I don't count Stefan's incidents of falling of the bandwagon, because of how bad he feels about those), the way he treats Elena, the way he treats his brother, how dishonest and scheming he is.... I know lots of girls like the bad boy, but Stefan is enough of one of those. Her falling for Damon was just ridiculous... And honestly, I think that was the beginning of the end for a lot of the fans...
I never started the wolf one, though. I mean, vampires have their sexy side (I mean, frankly, the whole legend is pretty sex-related, right down to the most basic idea of them biting necks of pretty girls). But werewolves? I mean, I don't even really like dogs, so I just kind of picture werewolves as sort of dumb people who probably smell like wet dog... So I don't understand their sex appeal....

tbh i never watched Teen Wolf for the sex appeal (i just like fantasy-related things and the show looked cool to me) but there's definitely not a lack of sex appeal in it. A TW episode without a shirtless guy in it is probably not a real teen wolf episode, especially in the earlier seasons hahaha. For me, what really made me love the show were the quirky, lovable characters though.
but regarding the sex appeal, here's a gif of the main character :P :

and an important supporting character:

another important supporting character in the first 2 seasons:

[edit] and because this post was lacking ladies here are the 2 gorgeous leading ladies:

Will sell soul for :')
Yeah, I dunno... I don't think he's my type. :O I mean, he has muscles, but... even in those gifs, he kind of reminds me of a dog. Maybe it's the chestheaving and the way he's running... And his hair style... Also reminds me of a dog somehow...

Let's see... slight spoilers ahead
SPOILER (click to toggle)
The 100 - after Lexa was killed /: A shame, since this show had so much potential but lma o I'm not here for creators who keep killing their lgbt characters.
Outlander - Uhh pretty sure I dropped this around the time they got married / a bit after that, boy what a mess
Supernatural - Lost interest after season 5, last nail in the coffin was when they killed Osric Chau's character.
Teen Wolf - I think i watched the fourth season, but everything about this show is a bit ??? so i've got no clue
Penny Dreadful - couldn't really stomach the gore
Hemlock Grove - too gorey for me, but I dropped it the moment one of the protagonists sexually assaulted someone etf
Sleepy Hollow - lost interest when the witches appeared, but thought I'd soldier on anyway, at least until I heard what they did to Abbie.
Would my waning interest in TV overall count?
This began when the announcement of the digital conversion. When fully implemented I just cut the antenna cord. I don't watch TV anymore...
I still have one, but only for movies and games, that has gone to pasture as well.
The last program I did enjoy watching was Jeopardy! Oh, well...
I dropped Fear The Walking Dead halfway through season 2 cause I got bored and it was just a waste of time for me, not many references to the main series.
I want to drop Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow and just keep watching The Flash and Supergirl because there's only one character I care about who is in The Flash and Supergirl is the lightest show of the 4 while the others have become too dark and depressing. Problem is, the crossovers keep getting bigger each year, and I care too much about continuity, so I'm stuck watching all 4. But if my favourite character dies, I'm dropping them all. Yes, I'm that shallow.
I stopped watching Lucifer BUT it was not really in my plans to do so... I just get sick of tuning in and finding out the show was either not airing that week or just not airing for WEEKS! So I decided to drop it till I can safely watch the whole of season 2 without getting annoyed.
I stopped watching Gotham after a few episodes... it had such promise but then it got super lame and boring.
I was really into The Following but stopped watching it near the end of season 1. Again my issue is I cannot seem to watch shows as they air on a weekly basis but I don't have Netflix or a way to binge watch shows so I am out of luck.
Oh and I totally stopped watching Vikings several episodes into season 4. I freaking LOVED that show for the first 3 seasons but by the time the 4th aired... my God it was the same damn plot... same boring twists. Eh no thanks.
Bored of the Walking Dead, I knew I wasn't the only one.
I think I watched a few episodes of the first season of Fear The Walking Dead and it just sort of... irritated me. I dunno, it just seemed like absolutely no one knew what a zombie was. Everyone on that show just seemed incredibly... dumb? to me.
I don't know. I love The Walking Dead, but I just can not stand Fear The Walking Dead. Haven't watched anymore of it and I'm honestly not sorry.
