Did a few pulls with hopes of blue mage flier Morgan but no dice, gonna see what the bonus units are before I delve in further.

Gerome is a 40% bonus unit! I think I'm going to save my orbs for the probably future Spring banner... At least F!Morgan is in the pool now so there's a chance she might pitybreak me one day or she will show up on other banners? xD I think I'll grind the TT doing like 10k each day for 3 days, then using one or two stamina potions for getting Gerome to lvl 40 (if I get it done by Saturday it will be double SP too!) and use him for the remainder of the TT... I really hated having to do the last one with a 20% only bonus unit.

I only have 325 slots, everytime I want to summon (or there's a quest with a hero as a reward) it's a HELL xD I've been thinking about getting some more space lately, maybe I should do something like one upgrade every week or so! Especially since I'm starting to have some spare 5* I may fodder one day (Hector, Celica, Hinoka, B!Ike) but they take space :X I keep almost every copy of my GHB units too. I think I foddered a few Narcian, F!Robin and Ursula and sent home some Lloyd or Navarre xD My GHB units don't have merges too.

- Yeah, I played as female robin, but I love Taguel, so I wanted all the taguel babies and played through as M!Robin, but female Morgan's personality just grated on me... especially contrasted to Yarne!

I'm still on squad assault 4, I probably should go get them done while I have stamina to spare. I've been doing chain challenges, but I still like leaving those maps un-cleared for SP grinding (TBF, I have been using them for SP grinding for Jaffar and Eirika to upgrade their weapons)

- Uuuugh, the GHB units are my bane for my decision anxiety. I think I used a Narcian for lance breaker once, and I'm pretty sure I used a Robin for her tome breaker, but the rest of them are just sitting there. I don't know what to do with them. I'm with Jensen, there's too many of them to feather them all, but theya re limited, so I feel it's a waste to merge them at 4* or use them as skill fodder :( I only have 300 spaces in my barracks, I'm too cheap to upgrade, but I'm constantly overflowing.

- I gave my +spd 4* Cordellia Firesweep lance + I may upgrade her to 5*. My flier emblem still needs a LOT of work. I've got a bunch of them, but they don't 'mesh' as a team. I haven't gotten a single GHB fliers quest.

- Nice :) I'll probably use him as well. The 40% bonus is really nice, but also less nice when you only have armor as bonus unit, cus the reduction in speed counteracts the bonus :( Last TT was painful b/c of that.

Well managed to get Male Morgan just now with my free orbs from Sacried Gardians and you were right :p, sadly my summer Corrin was a speed Bane, Res Boon. Still plan to use her when situations call for it though.

Forgot to mention earlyer that I got a 4* L' Arachel who I didn't have so that's another plus.

they took the awakening maps off the calendar... i was hoping i'd have those to try for chrome if i don't like the seasonals, sigh. i wish they'd just announce that banner now, too.

f!morgan's support with yarne was honestly one of my least favorites -- i hadn't seen her sibling support with him until i looked it up just now, and i don't like it any better lmao yeesh

and yeah, that's pretty much why i did it! i don't want to do the ghb quests or chain challenge right now, so i figured squad assault would be fun.

- I'm sorry OTL I cursed it! She's still pretty fast with flier buffs (unlike S!Camilla who needs QR or breakers to double anything), too bad Hone Fliers is only available at 5* and one is seasonal limited.

- Yeah, she and Yarne did not mesh well as siblings. (Although, she did make an absolutely adorable taguel, but her personality didn't really fit) War Cleric MorganM was much better, he was the only child unit I used in my first play through.(although, 80% of the units I used in my first play through were free DLC characters form previous games. lol) I don't even think I rescued Nah, Gerome or Brady to this day. After I discovered that you could change which skills they inherited, I wanted to plan something good for them, but I wasn't using their parent units so I never went and got them. I remember using Noire post-game, she ended up with Bow Breaker and I classed her into a dark flier, I gave her S rank with MorganM, and they wrecked stuff.

- Re: Azura - Yup, the whole game would have made way more sense if she just betrayed everyone at the end, that would have been a twist I could get behind, unlike the other units that 'betrayed' you in the other paths. They never really made sense. Scarlet, my poor waifu, I'm still salty about the fact that those cut scenes were unchanged if you had S rank with her.

:p no worries on the jinx....as I said I have used units with bad IVs and made them work. My Takumi with -spd/ res + was considered for a GHB that a higher resistant Takumi was suggested for.....but the AI had other ideas.

x_x The point is at lest I have her....need to take what you can get with seasonal units at times.

i used an arena calculator for once and two blessings later i'm now safely in the 700+ range and i have a happy family team (fred and summer robin and morgan and uh. auntie gunnthra) for whenever we get wind blessing quests :3 i didn't quite make t20 but my return to t19 should be secure.

i think i picked up most of the kids (i mostly just wanted to play the paralogues), but i definitely never used them all p; my last save was one of those "give all the kids galeforce" ones, which... was a mess lmao. i don't think i finished it; i'm tempted to pick it back up since it's probably the only way i'll have playable priam ;>>

- Generally Att boon, HP bane is the best for mages.

I should do an arena calculation. I gave Michaish Sword breaker, but only had the ability to give her swordbreaker 1, and I have noticed a drop in my arena scores OTL. No one that I'm using has blessings or has been merged. Last week I just BARELY slipped down to T17 again (like, an hour before the end I was still in the bracket to move up to 19, I was actually surprised to see that I went to T17!). And so far this season, Axzura has ruined all my hopes at deathless run.

yeah, i guess priam was just supposed to be a fun throwback to ike's games, but it would've been nice if he got more than two supports ;w;

that last arena season was weird. people were really desperate to move ranks, i guess? most of the time i just run horses + bonus and damn the consequences p; my understanding is merges + high sp skills > blessings. blessing the fam pushes my range up 6 points, which is fine, but pretty pointless once morgan is done being the bonus or when the wind season is over. i really only used the calculator to see if i could justify running family emblem and gunnthra, and to talk myself into blessing fred and summer robin (since morgan had already been blessed so he could do the wind maps).

- I should merge my Xander then. Get at least one + unit on the team. I don't use my +'d units as much for some reason. Most of my + units are just trolly units that are fun to play with, but not actually that useful. I mean, if I had a second Michaiah, B!lyn or Azura I peobably would merge them (since their other skills aren't super useful) but I don't, and they are my most useful units, so they aren't leaving the team any time soon. But I should maybe put Guard back on Michaiah until I can get her swordbreaker 3. Maybe I should put Blazing light back on xander too since that apparently gives more arena points than bonfire.
Last season I was using different units too, Nowi and Ninian in place of Michaiah and Azura, Ninian only has silver rank skills in her A and B slot, and Nowi was running spur def 2 instead of threaten res.

imo you should just funnel your resources into units you really like. (but preferably someone that's available at in 3/4* pool, for easier merging.) that way you can use them all the time, arena season bonus be damned. but otherwise i'd just build a strong arena core -- and i'm not the best person for advice (since basically all i do is Send In The Frederick unless it's a red mage for The Reinhardt) it sounds like you've got one, since micaiah and nowi both have boosted bsts

- I've been focusing on raising up Nino (she's +7 now). She's a power house, but really frail, and I don't have an effective team built around her. Although, with Eirika's upgraded weapon, maybe I could make something work with the two of them together. Eirika is available in the 4* pool, maybe I should focus on trying to merge her next. The other units I was working on were Rebecca and Gaius, because they are my favourite FE characters, but Gaius is basically worse version of Jaffar (whom I now have at +2 as well) and I had been planning on running him with poison dagger, but since weapon mods became a thing poison dagger is less useful than some of the other daggers now, so now I don't know what to do with him, he's just sitting on the back burner, and rebecca.... well honestly, she sucks. :( I could brave bow her and hope for the best, but when she came around as the arena bonus unit a few weeks back, I tried to use her, but she just couldn't take a hit, or kill anything. I had to drop her from the team. I'd merge Nowi if I ever summoned her, but I have literally summoned one Nowi since the game came out, the one I'm using (she happens to be +att, which is nice, most people seem to run her +spd though) I think i need to find a nice 3 or 4 star pool unit that's a good melee tank to build up, since it seems that all the ones i've got currently are more glass cannon types. Eirika probably is a good choice, she's got decent def and res, TA makes her pretty good against Grima and Myrrh, Close Def might be a good choice for her too. Or maybe Chrom, I've been meaning to 5* one of my Chrom's for TT as healing bot, this TT would be a good time to do it with boss monster Grima.

i was gonna say, maybe you could give rebecca guard bow since iirc that has built-in distant defense 3, but i looked it up and the only way you can get guard bow+ is by ??? inheriting and refining assassin's bow+ from setsuna? and frankly that is absurd. like, at least slaying bow has two sources >:U nino+eirika is a duo i see mentioned a lot though, it's certainly worth trying. (it's a pair i've wanted to build for ages, but my eirikas are both -atk, sigh.) chrom would be good too, considering all the dragons showing up in arena o: i'm settling for building my masked marth rn though, 'cause i can't bring myself to promote a chrom or a real marth right now ;x

- Yeah, guard bow is a pain to get. I have a spare Leon that could give her slaying bow, but I don't even think that would help her much, she's +att with attack modded silver bow and her attack reaches 48, that would drop to ... actually only drop by two with the slaying bow+ att mod, why is silver bow so much lower attack than all the other silver weapons? Guard bow would drop her att too much, she'd only have 40 attack with it. I could invest in her to have a slaying bow, but Brave Lyn is just a much more useful archer. Marth wouldn't be a bad choice either (also 4* and also sucks for skill inheritance, and also already have at 5*), he actually has the highest res of the Falchion users, making him the most useful against ye old dragons (although, i think one of them gets the ability to hit the lower of the two anyway... so maybe that's not super useful) I honestly don't know what my Eirika's IVs are, she was one of my first 5*s before I started checking. She needs some work to be more useful as something other than rally bot. I upgraded her Seglined to buff stealer, and summoned another roy so was finally able to give her TA3, but I think close def might be better for her, I still have spare summer tiki waiting around to give that to someone. Her special right now is chilling wind... not even iceberg or glacies. OTL She could be fun with an AoE special. I think instead of Rally Def, she would be more helpful to Nino with reposition, and maybe fortify def or res seal instead.
I think my masked marth rn is also TT heal bot set. Renewal, Ardent Sacrifice, fortress def. lol.

Good to know that I am not the only one who hordes Grand Heroes, although like I also used Robin for the Tomebreaker skill. I put it on B!Cordelia although I am currently pondering the wisdom of that decision :S

Still upset that Corrin was the only person Scarlet could have supports with. She should have at least had a platonic support with Ryoma and they should have been pre-married in Revelation. But yeah, the cut scenes should have changed, and also the post game endings too (I married Hinoka to Xander in my Rev run and she still ends up as a general of the Hoshidan army. Lady you are the Queen of Nohr!)

I checked my pity rate on the Chrom/Morgan banner and saw I was on like 4.25% so decided to roll despite common sense telling me not to... Horse Chrom would be really nice, but I got pity broken by Ogma :X I sent all of my Ogmas home in a rage. On a different side, I did also get another Nephenee, so now I have 2 spare 5*s - not sure whether to merge or use as Wrath fodder, I have to look up who it would suit. (Really hope the special heroes/legendary heroes don't include that Ryoma/Hinoka alt)

I keep getting Caeda from my free pulls (well... I got a Caeda on the Falchion banner, and again today on the Chrom/Lissa banner) I did use a copy to get Fortify fliers but I hear wing sword is a decent weapon so training her up is tempting.

I've beaten the Hard and Lunatic Chrom and Lissa but Infernal keeps just beating me out. Nearly there though.

- The sequel to the poker night one was my favourite :P That chapter was so WTF in the games. My Blue Tome breaker is on Nowi, which is great for her, she can eat all the Reinharts and Lindes and Michaiahs and Robins that show up in arena etc. Bridelia I feel is less useful, cus she's generally fast enough to double stuff anyway, Nowi's too slow to double anything w/o breaker or QR.
Yeah, the endings in that game were weird, they didn't bother changing any of them based on who they were paired with. I married Selena to Xander in conquest, and it implied that both she AND the king of Norh disappeared to another world. Good planning writers. I liked that Echoes, with it's smaller support bases, actually changed endings based on who had support with whom, and also changed the endings if one of those supports ends up dying!

Wing Sword is a great weapon, SE against armour and Cavalry, and if you mod it, you get flashing blade (aka +1 cool down counter per hit if spd higher than enemies, and she pretty fast, especially if you get a +spd) My Caeda is +spd, it's really tempting to make her 5* but I have Elincia as red flier, and she's also pretty good, and I've put a lot of work into her already.

SEASONAL ALFOOOOONSE he's not as cute as spring chrom, but giant spoon has bunnies, but it doesn't do any debuffs... what a dilemma. shareena is super cute though!! and chill res would be nice for reinhardt but idk. gonna dump the rest of my tempest orbs into the branded king banner anyway.

eirika sounds like a pretty solid investment, 30 def is nice. you're a braver soul than i am if you fodder off that tiki, as much as i'd like to give my favorite units fun weapons, i have a hard time convincing myself to fodder off seasonal units ><;; fortress def on masked marth though -- was that worth it? i gave mine darting blow 'cause i had a lot of florinas, but i've got an extra seth i've been thinking about foddering o:

I summoned a +att -def Erika 4* Eirika I merged the +def one into the +att one. Working on training her up a bit. Might throw her onto the TT team for a bit. WIth TA she can take on higher level green units. Lol, my masked marth only has fortress def 2 cus I summoned a lot of Lukas way back. The -att makes her more likely to use ardent sacrifice over going to attack things. Ai is silly that way.

My addiction to fliers makes me want Kagero, colourless hell be damned. Still kinda want F!Morgan but hmmm. I ended up pulling a +Spd M!Morgan when I had no blue orbs so I've been using him and he's a pretty fun unit, I gave him standard Fury and Desperation and he kinda wrecks. Running Linde, B!Cordelia and PA!Azura for the full buff onslaught. Haven't had a whole bunch of time to play while I'm away but up to around 37k, just been trying to fit in battles where I can haha.
