I had a bit of a crappy rl day so I treated myself to the orb packs and went pulling. I got a +atk -hp Nailah on the dc banner and then on the legendary banner 2 +atk -hp Marths, a +atk Laevatein, neutral Sothis and neutral Altima. Game must have known, and I appreciate it after the Igrene debacle.

Speaking of, Subaki is at +6, and I’ve fed him an Idunn and Fiora. He’s going pretty well in arena, lots of things just clink off him.

ahhh thanks! We'll see :) Right now mine has a Berkut's Lance since it increases her already-insane Res, but I'll be really curious to see how her weapon refinement comes! I still adore my Mathilda. She still lives on both my Arena and Aether Raids teams and is my go-to for Heroic Ordeals... basically she is still my unit

- Yeah, nice to finally be getting another free sword pony, the last (and only) one was Xander! I'm most excited for Tanya and Eyvel, Eyvel looks like she'll drop, and Tanya will be in the 3-4* pool to begin with, so this banner can be skipped... if they give us free Peony, which I feel like they will, we've gotten a free unit for every book, and she's on the logo now, like Eir was.

My game refuses to download the update automatically again, I'll have to manually download it :(

_< i've not seen what unit Kempf was yet in Heros though I think I predicted he would be red tome or red sword considering his "rival" is a blue tome and was superior to him in Thresia.

Funny thing is he's the unit that started the archtype that Narcian is part of so will be interesting to see how he and his GHB compares to Narcian's.

- Yeah, he is red sword cavalry. (I guess Stahl also counts as f2p red cavalry, but I never see him used.... never see Xander used anymore either, maybe Kempf will start showing up, since those two are both gen1)

I just promoted Jakob recently along with Tethys, sadly Jakob struggled even with the Dagger exp AND valor up. I blame the game constantly wanting to put armored units into the training tower on a mostly dagger team >_<

- Yeah, I should probably work on promoting some of my 4* units. I recently made another 5* +10 (Florina) I'm working on making some 4* +10s with their 5* prfs to save some feathers too. Jakob is one I got as a pity breaker long ago, he hasn't seen any use since. We need a sting shuriken for sure, it's long overdue. He was painful to level up when the game first came out, I can't imagine now, with power creep and all. The game keeps throwing these OP gen 3 units at my poor 4* units while I'm trying to level them up in the training tower and it's painful.

_< Might be why I feel like having a exp unit and a valor unit baby sit lv1 5*s has more of a impact at making leveling less of a pain then just having a Dancer, Healer and a random third unit. Usually when I have that combo, the unit gains 3-4 levels per map until the Lunatic maps.

Though the fact afew exp or valor units I have are ALSO dancers helps -eyes event Shigure, Tethys, and Lene-

- Yeah, that's the main reason I want Shigure. Lene is SO useful for sword units, especially all the new ones with their ridiculous amounts of SP they need. But I only have Sword, Lance, and Axe valor still. :( I have Sword Valor x3. I wish they stacked. lol. Still waiting for Tethys to come home. The new banner doesn't have a focus colourless, so probably not going to happen this banner. Need her, and Norne, and Tanya! They are the only 4*s I'm missing now, and they are all colourless.

i don't have Lance Valor at all so my poor lance units take more time to level ( and I have 2 still to get to 40 out of 3)

I got Norne recently. Missing the newest archer though.

In an aesthestic sense, I just can't with the new guy from this new banner, Osian. He looks like someone badly photoshopped a chibi kid's head onto a muscled dude's body, almost as if it's different art styles.

- yeah, not loving the art for this banner, and peony and tiandra are gorgeous, but definitely dont feel like fire emblem characters. They remind me of odin sphere.

Unfortunatly, while I could be wrong as I havn't seen his skill set, he also might contrast Rienhardt in tier as well. Considering Rienhardt is/was one of the strongest units to face in the arena.......yeh, Kempf is probably going to be a red sword, Calvery Narcian basicly ( which is funny in itself )

Agreed, there is something about Osain that seems off and you've hit the nail on the head.

Looks like Mathilda's refine is a direct ref to her romance with Clive :3 I hope you can work with it. I've been playing to max out the HM on the many dozens of units I spent a lot pulling for so when they reach the cap they get a break... that said it was so lovely to use Cecelia and Oboro again after such a long break, and they still kill everything they are supposed to. I had missed them.

I have about 150 orbs ready for the Takumi/Ryoma rerun tomorrow. Not as many as I would like (curse my self control) but I'm hoping that I get at least one and am looking forward to pulling colourless given that Tethys is now in the 4*. I'm going to try and not spend too much because I'd also like to try and get another Alm to fix his speed problem when that banner roles around again too, and it's not too far away either.

- I doubt it? He looks like a pretty standard cavalry unit. His prf weapon effect is that of healers. lol (Pain + and Candlelight +) Possibly helpful for helping level up weaker units, or getting kills for quests with units with bad attack OTL. But since we aren't getting him at 5* I doubt he'll come up much in f2p. I might 5* him, just cus that weapon effect is super trolly, but doubtful he will be on the same tier as the reinhardt.

The new refines are meh. But wondering if I should do a 4* +10 with my Arthur just for the arena (he's already +8, would just need to get him his prf). His refine seems to be the standout of the bunch.

i'll probably 5* him because I plan to 5* everyone anyways.

_< Forgot if we can have more then two units bond with eachother ( has Hector supporting Leon) because I wouldn't mind Kempf rase support with Narcian. Granteed Narcian's raseing support with me so eh....

May still be tempted to have them on maps together though.
