3 5*s this morning, TWO I didn't have.....and none of them are the summer ones --;. I also pulled a spare Leif earlyer this week.

- Yay orbs! I finally got one of the new summer units, so I can start saving again too. I got Wolt +att -Spd (he doesn't even suffer from minus spd cus brazen att/spd is so broken, plus his weapon eff gives him even more speed) he's been tearing up the TTs. I haven't pre-ordered 3H yet, but I should, especially since I got confirmation from my friend that she will let me borrow her switch for it (so I don't have to wait until Switch Lite :D )

- Yay new 5*s? It's always kind of a bummer to not get the focus units, but at least they are new? I got Saber and Sumia recently from these banners. Saber's fun, Sumia's kinda meh.

I decided to +10 my Matthew and I gave him CC. It's super fun seeing him able to do 60+ damage to things. Pretty good for a unit with only 25 base att. OTL

I got Kliff and Keaton. I needed a red beast unit and Kliff tends to show up with Alm and Faye for Bonus Units ( -glares at the TT awhile back that I had 0 bonus units for- so may have saved me rolling on that Alm and Faye banner later ( key word might)

I also got a 5* Raigh for the free pull this morning but I have a better stated one I promoted already who is max so I turned him into a book.

- Nice, Keaton and Kilff are both good, both in terms of viability as units and skill fodder (DC Keaton is deadly and likes to ruin my Arena runs). Raigh has Raudwolf+ which is unique to him (still after all this time), so that might be nice to give to your favorite red mage. His new tome is really nice too. I had promoted mine like a week before they announced his weapon upgrade. I might start to merge him later if I get bored.

I just got pity broken by Quan on the summer banner... no new flying archer to try out for me.

Well, looks like the Three Houses stuff is starting, I wonder if they will do anything special beyond the free Byleth if you purchase the game. I can't get my copy until August so I'm going to avoid (or try to) pulling on any Three Houses stuff until then.

- Well, Quan is a decent unit at least. I also don't get flying archer to try out (4 blue orbs and one green with 5.25% pity rate, then green was Wolt, the blues were all fodder :( )

The New Houses banner has some neat stuff, but I'm not super sold on any of them. Eldegard's set makes me think she will have low speed, and if she has low speed in heroes, that might me she has low speed in 3H, and that would make me sad. She looks like she should be berserk-type: high speed/strength, low defences. I hope Claude drops, I want him just cus of his sprite animations, but I don't need him, and he seems lackluster. I would 100% not be surprised if no one drops on this banner though.

Yeah Claude looks fun. I do like the new horse designs so would like him or Domitian eventually but not until I’ve had a chance to play it. I don’t think anyone is going to drop either, which makes me sad- this would be an ideal time to demote some older units to freshen up the pool and make space for the influx of new characters.

I also have the physical copy of three houses preordered so will just need to make sure I get the game registered ASAP for the free Bylith (typo)

- Yeah, they really should demote some of the book two and three 5s now. With all the new skills and stuff, it's hardly game breaking to put a few of those older 5 locks into the 4* pool.

I got 3 Dimitri (maybe the game wants me to do Blue Lions first? haha) and 1 Edelgard. Also got an extra Rahjat and Siegbert, all of this in less than 150 orbs so I'm pretty happy! I'm going to get M!Byleth anyway since I'm buying 3 Houses and he's pretty similar to the female version. And as much as I'd love to get Claude I needed to stay reasonable!

congrats on your +10 matthew! I upgraded matthew to a 5* before his upgrade and he was practically unusable, now he can hold his own and not insta-die, yay. loving these prf upgrades! 8D

bummed I don't have a switch so I can't get 3H pre-ordered D: I like the art on the new 3H banner and caaaaaved, got all 4 characters in like 200 orbs so I feel blessed lol xD the guys have decent IVs too, the girls not so much but who cares, I just wanted a copy of each 8D ooh, congrats on 3x Dimitri! - Seeing how well he was doing with CC and double smoke in the TT, I made it my goal to make him my first 6k HM capped unit, which he hit this morning. I mostly used him pre-upgrade to help get those quests like ko lvl 40 foes with Wrys. OTL The poison strike + stat debuffs helped a lot for that.

Congrats on your pulls too! I mostly just want Eldegard, but I'd be happy with any of them, although I'm not a fan of Dimitri's art, and after a few FB convos with Claude... well let's just say I'm an no longer on the fence about whether to go with the Black eagles or golden deer.... he's kind of a shady douche (but his art is lovely, and his sprite is so damn cute).

ty, I'm happy I have over 100 orbs left because I really need it for a Saber pull during his weekly revival ;3; I think for purely aesthetic reasons, I'd go with golden deer because that gold color + deer = win xD Dimitri's art is certainly a different style, I like the thick lines, I feel like it could always be worse, like Arthur's art which is a pity because he was so fun to play in his original game and he's like a 2D cartoon in feh fml D:

- Dimitri's art reminds me of JoJo's Bizarre Adventures, only not nearly over the top enough! lol And Claude keeps talking about 'Teach' (who I'm sure is probably Byleth) and I'm like Vaike? Vaike when plz! Hrm, looking at it again now, Byleth's art is also not great, she is really shiny.

Also really enjoyed that new video short the released with Lif and Alfonse... it was intense.

The new video was pretty unexpected but cool! Felt a lot more dynamic than the prohibitive text boxes.

I think I'll aim for a Blythe because her skills are b r o k e n. But do also want to save for the legendary banner this month - Eir and L!Alm on colourless is going to kill me. I had just over 1k orbs saved but blew just under 200 chasing a Takumi (never pulled one before!) for potential CC fodder; I got a freebie Saizo the other day and it's kinda tempting to build him with his awesome new refine?

Also +10'ed MCorrin at the weekend who has taken up prime cheerleader duty for my Aether Raids tank W!Cecilia; the +5 blanket stat boost was pretty hard to ignore. I promoted to T21 last week which was exciting! Kinda enjoying Raids still, even if it's mostly Smiting Cecilia and watching her absorb hits haha.

YES I THOUGHT THE SAME when he said Teach, I'm like VAIKE WHERE WHERE WHERE T_T I think I'm just gonna pretend Claude is like a smarter, more clothed version of Vaike even though he doesn't call himself Teach D: /cry

I think I like the art because the styles are different from the usual units we've gotten lately? c: but yeah, to each their own! at least you get to save orbs then!

I really hope we can get Lif as a unit eventually cause he is such an upgrade from Alfonse lol

that's amazing, AR is still so hit and miss for me D: I'm less about strategy than collecting units I like so I'm stuck at tier 16 and feel like a peasant dying every other battle? lol also yes, Saizo is awesome 8D now if only Kaze can get a weapon refine

- Haha, saving orbs, right. No, I still want them... all of them, even if I'm not a fan of them or their art, Blythe just looks broken, I still like Claude's design even though the FB is makin me think he is legit a terrible person, and I'm not going to snipe for just Eldegard, cus sniping green never works for me. Ever. This is the first time since it was introduced that I haven't gotten a 5* on any of my pulls with free + ticket summons. So saving orbs... not gonna happen apparently. 4.75% pity rate and counting.

I feel about the same as you about Aether Raids. I got to T19 pretty early, and have just been stuck there. I finally upgraded my fountain so I can have 250 aether to raid with, maybe that will pus me into 20, but I doubt it. I'm really bad a predicting AI, so I often lose to BS L!Azura doing things I don't expect her to do. (she's been super weird for me in arena too, if it's ever possible, I make a point of baiting her out, and usually she attacks if you put someone in her range and only her range and no one else's, but recently she's been like Nuh-Uh, let me sing to this other random unit so they can go rally all these other units, and then repo me so that you can't get to me anymore. It's incredibly annoying, and I don't understand!)

- 1k orbs? Wow. I had almost 300 at the start of this banner, now down to 180, and nothing :( (why do I still play this gaaaame) Congrats on your shinies. MCorrin's eff seems pretty limited, but I guess if you have one unit you really enjoy using and want to give them more stats, power to it. And whoever is doing the smiting, do they have a link skill for even more bonuses? I've been doing FB with Sumia and Kaden to get them more HM, and when they repo/swap with each other, they get +6 to all stats. I kind of overlooked the link skills, but they are pretty fun.

I caved and splurged on a summer banner to get more dudes and I got them both (Frederick and Gaius) but now am flat broke lmao, I am doing weeeeeell. :'D girls still outnumber easily but trying to get more guys in them barracks

Byleth sounds broke but when played with the rest of the 3H characters, she tends to be KO'ed faster than the others, so idk, maybe I am just playing her wrong. I actually love Edelgard, she's usually last 3H person standing. Victorious Axe ftw. 8D

lol I loved Claude's FB dialogue, like I'm all for scheming / roguing asses haha. Sold me on Golden Deer. <3 though I'm most curious about Dimitri's background, he's definitely hiding something. :0

congrats on being stuck at tier 19! I thiiink I was at tier 19 but then kept on dropping lmao, I can't bring myself out of tier 16 but then again I was at 14 and 15 for some time, I hope I don't drop further

Yeah he has Atk/Res Link from LA!Titania and also Def Tactic from NY!Laegjarn so gives +6 to everything but speed. And yeah, general idea is to aid Cecilia as much as possible and debuff the foe for the counterattack. I guess it's basically impossible to snipe on Raids so I just hope she survives the onslaught and outheals with Aether. He does have decent stats on his own merits too; gave him Fury 3 which pairs nicely with the flat +2 from Yato. Good enough to take on Surtr, anyway. I have 4 red +10s now (Tiki, Eirika and Lilina) so errr need to do another colour really. Am keen on +10 Aversa when more grails roll in though lol. :x

Yeah the dagger units are just fun. Tempted to +10 my Kagero next, already have her at +2 and feathers seem to roll in easily. Her refine isn't the best but I think she could be fun for PvE stuff. Otherwise Cherche has been on my list for aaaages.
