Been putting more orbs into the NY banner in the hope of getting another Hrid but I was pity broken by Libra (again) at about 4% :I He's +def -att but perhaps I can merge both my Libras when the change happens and build him. I need a good BHector killer. Time to start work on that 100 orb goal, I think.

For the VG I was on Takumi (of course) but wow Gunnthra really beat him. Guess the masses are secretly really down with her? Bumped into 's Hana though (I think it was yours? It had the exact same build) and she was very useful C:

I did a little quiz for NY on another site, it was interesting going through it so thought you guys might be interested. Definitely helped me decide where to focus my efforts at the moment. It's a bit long so it's under the cut.

- I noticed your Frederick around on my team. He had some fun solos. Also, I will not be joining you on Azura. I can't support her, I just can't I don't care about the end results of this VG, didn't from the beginning, but Azura just... uuugh.
Leg Banner was just awful to me, this one, and the last one, and the one before it, and the one before that. (the one before that was the only one that was nice to me and gave me my first leg Lyn and Robin and Hector) I will probably merge this Fjorm, I killed extra Takumi to give Brave Lyn Fishie Bow, and I killed extra Eir to give Kinshinoka Mystic Boost.

- Nice set of goals. I don't have any goals for 2019.... maybe just not to rage quit? lol.

- I gave Kinshinoka Mystic Boost, Armour dragons are less of an issue ;) As for Brave Hector: Fae. The answer is Fae. Surtur is still utterly broken and I hate him. I have good counters for him on my AR team, but not my arena team. Maybe Eirika needs an armourslayer and TA and axe breaker instead of sword breaker. I started merging a Ceada, she's +5 now, Marth is also +5, Eirika is +6 and I have been working on merging her for over a year now! I think Caeda or Marth will hit +10 before her. Of course, I probably won't encounter any of them now that I've started merging them. Maybe Hinata makes a good Surtur counter? I have 9 Hinatas in my combat manuals. OTL Fury master.

I have a Hinata at +3. He's quite the tanky unit, but I wouldn't pit him against Surtr. He preys on any sort of enemy phase unit, so you want to player phase Surtr. If you have Festival in Hoshido Micaiah, she'll do the trick quite nicely. If not, a unit like Bartre, Cherche, or Hana could make for cheap armor counters that are reasonably strong when fully invested.

- Yeah, I discovered that Surtur with boots or armour march support is much easier to deal with because you can bait him without the negative consequences. Most of my arena guys have been enemy phase guys recently, so Surtur's been a hassle. I don't have festival Michaiah. Sanaki could probably put a decent dent in him, but she would drop my arena score too much I fear. Adult Tiki is probably my best option to counter him in terms of units that have merges, she's tanky, hits his res stat, and with vantage has a chance to take him out before retaliation. She's not very well built right now though, and she's not much of a 'team' player,

I'm surprised and impressed that they are giving us Leanne and Reyson on the very first beast banner. REALLY not looking forward to facing dancers with 3 movement in the arena though OTL. I'm a bit sad that Nailah's beast form has awkward animation, her human form art is fantastic. The art for Leanne and Reyson aren't that great.

- Still need Ranulf, Zihark, and Pelleas from 9/10, and some others from the other games. Panne, Vaike, Scarlet. Kellam is probably already in heroes, it's just that no one has noticed him in their barraks.

I keep siding with the losing team each voting gauntlet. At each round. :'D just my luck lol

I think the only one who MIGHT be on the list left for me is whoever started the archtype that Narcian falls under.

- We definitely need a villains alt banner! And I feel like Narcian started the Narcian archtype, i can't think of another character from an earlier game who quite fits, maybe Slayde?

I looked again online and it's apperantly "the Kempf" archtype Narcian and Slayde fall under.

Considering Kempf is from Thracia, that might be why he didn't ring a bell.

- Ah, Thracia, the only game I haven't played yet. Mind you, generally villains names don't stand out to me, since you only see them once or twice if they aren't a main villain. I was looking up Sirius for a friend the other day cus he's a spirit in smash, but neither of us could place him, he is a villain from FE2 , and turns out Sirius = Camus under a different name, and Zeke from Valentia: also = Camus sans memories. Go figure.

Looked up Kempf again and he's apperantly got a issue with Rienhardt so if he ever made a apperence in Heros, would be interesting to see if some aspect of that carrys over.

Surprised we didn't get Zeke or Sirius yet given both alius of the Black Knight and Masked Marth and Lucina are their own units, plus Odin and Owian now.

Sadly I don’t have a spare Eir yet. Still, Julia’s refine is really good... my Julia’s are both -res so I’ll merge my +hp one into my +spd one one that feature is out and I should hopefully have a decent Tiki/Nowi/Fae killer.

Art for beast units are really good, but I don’t know who any of them are... Naesala is nifty looking though so glad we get him for free at least (assuming I can beat his GHB)

- Yeah, Julia/Deirdre's refines are good. Same effect as Mystic boost. Tailtiu's new weapon gives her wrath effect, not sure if I like that any more than blarblade+. (she doesn't even come with a base special attack lol) But with Wrath in the weapon effect, she can also take desperation as a B slot, paired with fury, she could become a little powerhouse just like Nino, and she could still rock the blarblade+ from time to time too.

Get yee to a GameCube! Path of Radiance is so good. (Leanne and Nailah are technically Radiant Dawn) Unfortunately Path of Radiance and Radiant dawn are hard to find copies of the games these days. Hopefully someday they'll do a download version for Switch. I'm glad we get Naesala for GHB, and his art is so good! It makes me happy, he's one of my favorite of the laguz, even if he's kind of a shitty unit in the games OTL. (the crow/raven laguz kind of all got shitty stat distributions, thief stats with none of the thief perks)

- Speaking of the Kempf Archtype, Naesala fits it pretty well too :D Make a team!

Jarod and Valtome are considered that archtype in Radiant Dawn but not Naesala which is abit odd.

Then again charactors of that archtype are either unhinged ( Hans, Valter, Legion) or Narssistic ( Kempf, Slayde, Narcian)

Granted I am looking up TV Tropes for this rather then a site dedicated to Archtypes ( someone on youtube had Narcian placed in the Michalis archtype as well )

- Yeah, maybe it's not cus he's not a villain per say; he's actually a nice guy, he just puts on the front of being a narcissistic jerk, where as the rest are just actually narcissistic jerks. I wouldn't put Narcian in the Michalis archtype at all. (unless it's a 'stat based' arch type, in which case, yeah, Wyvern archtype lol)

Naesala is listed in the Michalis archtype funny enough.

If/when Kempf is added I expect some irony stat wise compared to his "rival"Rienhardt given the latter's reputation in Heros.

Dire Wind! lol OTL. If anyone should have a double hit wind/green tome weapon though, it's Soren.

I looked online and he is a Mage Knight with a Thoron tome so likely hood is he'll transition to Heros as a Blue cavalry tome unit or possibly Green. Though blue is more likely given Rienhardt and his sister have thunder tomes.
