I decided to refine Clair with her special the other day, as I'm using her for the Forging Bonds, and she is pretty good with it. Happy with my choice. I'm also using the crappy IV Innes I got last month with his refine - which prevents counterattacks from magic and dragons - which is pretty sweet. He doesn't have an A skill and sure, the mode isn't exactly hard, but I'm impressed with what he can do.

Me tooooo. I had a disastrous run the other day (legit came away with 60 points welp) after playing at 2am after the maintenance which I totally forgot about. But otherwise really enjoying it! I've bought both Panic Manors for bonus next week and will have enough stones to get my third team slot, too. I'm on 64 Aether to play at the moment I think, lol. I should be able to get three in tomorrow to round off the season; currently just inside the top 1000 so will see how I hold.

My defence team is kinda evil but they don't have merges on them. I'm running Elise, Veronica and B!Cordelia with Firesweep alongside PA!Azura. I've managed to get a handful of wins and can usually knock out at least one unit which lessens the Lift blow. I hope we get to vs friends down the line, that'd be a nice feature.

And yeah the light/dark leak is interesting. Dark Staff Michaiah alongside the RD beasts banner seems almost inevitable (whew, the speculation).

Yeah fodder would be nice but I'm gonna have to keep her unfortunately. :x I can't stare a good IV in the mouth, so to speak. Plus we might have to start building new Blessing teams soon so another archer in my roster would be handy. At least her base kit isn't bad so she doesn't need a ton of investment.

Ophelia can be so damn scary. Whenever I see her in Aether Raids, backed by a team of mages so she can get her special off first round... :x eek. She's really hard to play around.

Oh, if you sacrifice Lewyn for power, she triggers specials every darn time! (Damn Special Spiral, you scary.) I have mage Azura so she can just decimate literally every single unit on sight. She shines so bright in those rally teams (at least in my experience of using her). Bringing bands of mages and then my Horse Emblem for the other side.

People still egg me for sacrificing Lewyn but I got a bad IV one so literally no regret. My Ophelia is still strong (besides having to fodder off so many 5* units SOBS. Mage teams are so expensive to build, yeesh. I should use Mage team to mess with Aether but besides Babyzura and Ophelia (and Lute), I really have nothing worth writing home about.

Yeah being able to abuse AOEs makes her particularly terrifying; I sat my Fae in to soak a hit from her before and got decimated despite colour advantage and her natural bulk + DD3 seal. ;_; She definitely made 70 attack. And if you don't regret it then more power to you! I've made some 'questionable' sacrifices before but having one OP character can do so much more than two mediocre ones.

And hmmm I really like Arvis as a freebie mage. Covers the weapon triangle and he basically comes pre-built. All his Ploys could be a great backline support. I gave him Fury for his A slot to bulk both Res for Ploys and give him more offensive presence, which has great synergy with Recover Ring in his B. And then Iceberg as a special. He can also heal with Ardent Sacrifice or Reciprocal Aid, too, as another role.

Yesterday I get afew spares...today I aim for the Legendary banner again with my free orbs and got Lavatain so now I have both Muspell siblings.

and just looked at the stats, my Laevitain has a Def+/HP- and my L!Lucina is a Atk+/Def-, not too bad I guess especally with Lucina, Sadly my L!Erika is another Atk-/Spd+ :/

Finally got another Eirika to merge, woo! She is now +5.

Hrm, I have lots of bonus units for next season, who to bring... Unfortunately, none of them are mages... don't have a Surtur counter... maybe Hrid would be able to (but -HP means that if he stands to close he basically dies lol Hrid's HP stat is pretty low to begin with, and it is super bane :( ) I wonder if I should bring Mist so she can status everyone so Hrid gets his weapon effect. lol, she'd probably hurt my arena score more than anything :P I'm thinking Hrid, Surtr, Nowi, FJorm (or possibly back to Eirika or Nino, might have to play it by ear and see how the team is doing)

Congrats on the merge! And it's hard to choose, I agree! Fjorm would be good because my Arena team is water blessed for her weeks but Surtr is gonna steamroll. Hmmm!

- I need to pay more attention to what weeks are when. I am hoping that wind will be boosted so that Hrid can buff up Nowi's defences. None of my arena stables are water blessings, Amelia is the closest, but I'm going to use Surtr over her, and I don't want to give Surtr water blessing cus already have a green armour with water blessing (Amelia) and cud after this week I might be foddering him off for sturdy stance 4 (since he is crummy IVs) Plus, none of these guys benefit from +3 spd. I should consider removing the earth blessings from Erika and Nino and replacing them with water...

Haha yeah I don't pay much attention to it either, just water blessed cos Fjorm is the only legendary in the core rotation so made sense to do it that way. But who knows! The new blessings might shake things up, We'll find out soon! Surtr/Ylgr ends on the 10th so the update must be then-ish too.

- Yeah. I thought Ike was in the regular rotation for a bit, I think that's why I did earth, but also attack boost blade Nino is scary. I should give her gronowl or something for the arena though, boost her score with a refine.

how are you prioritizing buying stuff for raid keeps? i'm a little behind resource-wise (leveled up facilities when i shouldn't have), so i'm stuck between the panic manors for next week or one of the new team slots. i'm not sure which is more useful in the long run x;

and eh, i don't know. i don't think the cav healers or firesweep-style units are really that bad as a defense team, since you have multiple raid teams available and they can be baited and dealt with, especially if you're fielding a dancer or are careful with ranged units + reposition. (though i am endlessly lazy, so i just use my arena defense team.)

Pahaha I'm sorry for your misfortune but congrats on your success with Morgan! That's a pretty good timeline considering how 'recently' he came out. I didn't realise how min-maxed Hrid was 'til today when he appeared on my friend list. 13 speed, wowza. He loves robbery and fraud, obvs.

And I'd say prioritise your offense above your defense, so buy Panic Manor for your Offense Map to give your fortress a boost as you'll really fall behind on stats without it imo. You can only lose the max 80 Lift once every 20 hours, after all, so it's no biggie if you fall behind on that front. So yeah, offense is definitely more important. I'm gonna buy team slot today so will let you know how much it helps!

Think I'll finish in the top 3k! Only managed to get two matches in today after horrible +10 brigade of H!Myrrh, M!Grima, H!Jakob, L!Lucina and HS!Michaiah. Fully decked out with premium skills. Yeah, seriously. It was horrendous and I'm happy B!Cordy and A!Azura came away with the win eventually, even with scars.

That sucks, if it helps Ylgr is not playing ball for me either. On the plus side, I do have Steady Stance 4 fodder now.

Started project Cherche, went with +att -spd. Did deck her out with the hammer when I was training her but there are many many armours now that have really high speed D: so it looks like she's going to be rocking her prf axe build but that's okay. Merged my old one into the new one and she's mostly ready to go, so now it's a case of merging her and getting SP for the refines.

Yay Cherche! lol, Yeah, need more Brave Hammer. lol. Lots of armours fast armours, and all the slow ones have Wary or Vengeful/Bold, so the speed often doesn't factor in.

yeah, i was complaining a lot about going weeks between +8/9 and +10, but i got super lucky with morgan's debut banner and the successive merges. tbh gathering his merges was nearly painless, it definitely could've been much worse! and hah, hrid is too slow to pull off a hit and run, so he just mugs you. super rude :p

I'm getting a little bored in the game at the moment... I don't want to be negative but I wish they'd not drawn out the end of book 2 so much, and I wish they'd say something about the update. The teasers are cool and all but I feel like they need to show something soon to get excited for?

i hope book 3 gives us something new and interesting soon, too. doing all the blessed grounds maps just really drove home the way they reuse maps over and over. it's getting to be kind of tedious x;
