Finished Narcian, last of 'em sorted! I realised I still hasn't done Xander at 4am which was fun (I was up playing video games, whoops). He was a lil tricky because of the pincer formation on the map. I used A!Tiki, Fae, PA!Azura and B!Veronica for some reason? She seemed like a good pick at the time. Her default C skill was pretty handy, though, as you have to rely on spurs with double Panic Ploy in the central columns. Didn't take too many attempts in the end.

And yeah, I love that one! I remember them playing it on a few of the story maps (Ares etc) and it striking me at the time so I looked it up. Geneology, sooooon...

Tempest is cute. My team is Myrrh, H!Mia, F!Grima and NY!Camilla and they haven't had many problems autoing baby Lunatic. Camilla is approaching the HM cap though - I seem to pull her out as my other red flier for TTs and stuff while Elincia sits on my main team. I might use Caeda? Mine is +Atk/-Spd lol. But hey ho, Wing Sword should ease things. She isn't built at all but maybe we can fix that with some cheap skills.

Also doing some clean up and finally turning non-freebie units into Combat Manuals. Errrgh I'm so close to staying in T20 but Effie is really letting the side down. ;o; C'mon Effie merges. I've been looking at alternate blue merge projects and my barracks are really lacking. I'm kinda curious about Clair but even she would be stuck at +6 so no real score improvement. Lukas would get stuck at +5, while F!Corrin could reach +7 which isn't bad? And I think the Dark Breath & Windsweep builds are cool. But... if I'm chasing score, I may as well just build a Nowi. Oh well, I'm feather broke so this is all hypothetical. 8)

Edit II: I had a flash of inspo in the shower (where all great things happen) and was like, why am I even using Effie when I have a +10 Eirika and it's Fjorm season? SO I went through today with Fae, A!Tiki and Eirika, kitted out with double rallies n stuff and gave Eirika the Atk Ploy seal for Fjorm cheerleading and had a pretty successful run! Scored 3712 in the end which lands me around rank 4k - currently the boundaries to stay are 3500 - 5300 so I'm pretty safe! This is my first T20 stay, iirc, which is pretty cool! I guess promoting is gonna require one of my merges to be on rotation but it's cool that it's a possibility. Also makes me think mebbe I should do something with Eirika, like give her DC from that poor LA!Hector I pulled a while back. Though lack of Fury would hurt her Ploy hmmm. Oh well, no rush!

Also I hope we get nice new seals soonish because I maxed Panic Ploy and Res Tactic out of boredom the other day. Once I get the Brazen seal the only noteworthy ones I have left are the dual stat seals. Hmmm maybe I can do spurs, I guess.

Got Nowi on my free banner for the old Halloween units (not free though, she was third of 3 red orbs). No luck on the new one though. Oh well, at least I have a crappy Myrrh sitting around for TT. (gave her fortress def to mitigate her -def nature to get the breaker effect of great flame and to not incure fury damage) Will probably switch to Dorcas once I get him 5*, although, armour tends to kill speed score. :( I keep forgetting that my Myrrh does not have DC, becuase EVERY Myrrh I run into in arena has DC.

Haven't attempted any of the infernal GHBs. Maybe next week when there's more guides kicking about and I have more time. Spent last week in Disneyland, so had better things to do (and also the internet in Disneyland is kinda crappy, Disneyworld has much better internet)

- Yay 2xT20! I hope I have enough to jump to T20 with my score this week, but aformentioned Disneyland kept me from really trying too hard. I think I managed a deathless run, but while Fjorm likes to drestroy Dragon Emblem teams, she really fails to do anything to armour emblem teams, and I keep getting those, so I didn't get much bonus points this week.

Yeah, if I remember correctly last year book 2 was the end of November, but there seem to be lots of convenient gaps where they can fit in a FEH channel to announce it. Popular opinion is that the mid-October heroes will be Farfetched 2 and book 3 in November but I'm not sure myself.

L!Ephraim is really fun to play with even with his base kit, I sadly don't have an extra OG Ike to give Heavy blade to (unless I use the seal I guess). Him, Ryoma and Fjorm have been my favourites so far. B!Ephraim I am looking forward to using, I just find using armours quite... slow.

Hrid or bust for book 3!!!!! I really hope we get to meet King Gustav. I've seen some talk that the Legendary Hero at the end of the month is a good chance of being him to tie in with the start but since we're missing our red archer I sort of think it might be L!Alm. I'm currently playing GotHW and I'm on Eldigan's chapter. When it played, I was all 'I know that song!'

My TT team is Mia (was a pity breaker a while back), S!Elincia, H!Sakura and Ishtar. Ishtar is really fun- as long as she can initiate, she kills everything.

Congrats on Nowi! Can't go wrong with a mage flier and she comes with Hone, right? Yeah Fjorm weeks are my faves. She has good enemy phase with her Bond skill and QR seal. I can usually sit her on a defense tile and surround her with Drives and stuff. Anna is definitely bottom of the pile. She's just... bad. Player phase axe with low attack just makes things miserable.

Congrats on H!Jakob, great addition to armour squads. I'm jealous! I got my first 4* Legault on my circle which was pretty exciting.

And yeah I run the seal on him, DB3 for his A slot. He gets 62 attack after a Hone so his biggest problem is usually ploughing through stuff too quickly to proc Galeforce haha. His base kit is cute but I just never found him bulky enough to make the most of Solar Brace.

- Yeah, now I have a seond Hone Flier, so I can swap out Hinoka and use Shigure or Cordelia sometimes for my flier teams. Anna with Fury is palatable. She's got good res and speed too. I refined her Axe with speed, and on her arena weeks she can get up to 52 spd with buffs. Threw flashing blade seal on her, and she's actually pretty decent. Her axe's ability isn't great, she could do really well with WoGun+ or Armoursmasher+ as well. Alphonse is probably my least favourite week, I need to get him better skills, like he should probably have swordbreaker or something in his B slot. Upgraded Folkvangr should help I guess, hasn't been his week since I got him the Brazen upgrade. But he is more or less rocking his base set still in my game. Axewise, my other infantry options aren't great either, but swords, Alphonse is outclasses by almost every single other 5* infantry sword I have, except maybe Karel. TBH as much as I love Sharena, I don't really enjoy using her in the arena either, I'd love to put Swift Sparrow or something on her, but it just oesn't seem justifiable on a unit that has 0 growth potential. They should just do an askr banner sometime, and make them summonable, like just once, not to add them to the reg pool, but just to be like a special banner, to give them SOME HOPE of decent stats. (:edit: although I guess to do that they would have to make them able to be sent home... maybe they could give us like cataogue versions of them instead)

i got distracted playing dragalia lost and forgot to do my arena quests... oops? oh well. the tempest banner's free roll got me a -atk mia (MORGAN, COME HOME)... i'm loathe to give her any skills when she's destined to be fodder so i'm stuck autobattling hard 5 yet again :p oh well, halloween dorcas will be mine soon >:3

ooh, congrats on finishing them all! i'm really only worried about xander, ursula, and robin, mostly because of the walls. we'll see how it goes when i find the time to take them on! the tempest and even tap battle had good writing, i hope we get more of that with the forging bonds and the paralogues, at least o: and congrats on staying on t20!! 🎉 that's very exciting :D

i'm just not ready to lose the book 2 crew! i want to see more of everyone we've already met rather than anyone totally new, 'scept maybe king gustav o: and i've given up on trying to guess who the legendary is. alm is a good guess, and i've seen corrin as a guess too, but i'm really hoping it's hrid. if he pulls a bruno and vanishes for now (or forever), now's the best time for his playable debut :B

- What a coincidence, it's Alphonse week, and already I've had to use some duel crests just to get the daily win 2 arena battles quest. Might have to switch to Dorcas, but I hate using an armour unless I'm doing armour emblem, and my armour emblem is seriously lacking.

it's super grindy, but charming... i knew nothing going in, i basically only downloaded it because i thought the art was nice.

also i think i read somewhere on reddit that everything from that survey from a while back is in dragalia lost; town building, weapon crafting, etc. if that's true, then I REALLY DON'T WANT THAT IN FEH LOL. but if intelligent systems would steal adventurer stories from dragalia (and gave the focus to the askr trio instead of kiran) it'd be perfect 👌

- Sounds like a pass for me then. I already play one phone app whose only lure is pretty art. I also do not want town building etc in FEH, too much like Fates >.<

I actually gave him a bit of a revamp this week in hopes of T20 continuation (I have 999 crests and it won't let me accept more from my present list so I burnt one yesterday and ended up a handful of points below last week's threshold for staying - but maybe Alfonse weeks are lower, I dunno). Alongside his existing Def refine, he now has a dual rally, Bonfire, Brazen Atk/Def and Atk Smoke alongside the existing Swordbreaker, and runs the Close Def seal. QR was another option but I think the Res is handy for enemy phasing dragons. He actually managed two full sweeps, surprisingly. I might swap Fae's Atk Smoke for Spur Atk/Res from a spare Libra as my built units are pretty solely focused on buffing the bonus now.

And yeah Dorcas is cool but I think one move would drive me insane while trying to play around the enemy. When I try and use Effie without Swap she's always just... Driving my other units tbh.

- Sounds like a good build for him, dual brazen attack. nice. I should probably give him something other than Sol, it really doesn't help him at all. I summoned an Ares recently, could give him brazen attack too... DB is also good though. I have STiki for Close Def fodder as well, then I could brazen attack/res with the new TT seal. I don't think I can give him swordbreaker 3 atm, just 2, which might drop my score a bit, but right now he's got seal def 3 as his B slot, which isn't really helping anyone. (he also has QR2 as a B slot option rn too) I don't think I have any good C slot options for him rn, he can keep spur attack. His seal right now is Defect magic, which has been helpful in the past, but I honestly haven't run into too many mages of late. And good to know about the crests, I have 981 atm. I'll have to use some.

I just put some time into getting Alphonse some better skills, gave him swordbreaker (had a 3* abel) and Bonfire. I have a Kaze and Ares, I could give him the same build as yours lol. (actually ran into one with the same build that mine now has in the arena today. Alphonse still went down quickly though, :( it was the Galeforce L'Ephraim who took out half my team.)

Yeah he had Dragon Fang as cheap SI before bonus units were important but it hasn't really done much - Growing Wind was a poss but I think the slight increase in score would be offset with fewer kills, and it lets you do stuff like KO a weakened Nowi when you'd normally hit a 0. You can run three 240 skills + seal with a dual rally and score the same as four 240s + seal with a dual rally; gives you some flexibility. Renewal is good, cheap 240 in B if you'd wanna stick with DB3 in A. I just find myself using him on enemy phase more as attacking into dragons or Vengeful armours is a bummer and... that's a big part of arena unfortunately. It was my first Ares inherit too, don't regret it at the moment! With refine and arena bonus stats he hits 40 def naturally, which then snowballs with dual Brazens and Close Def on top to 60 def without a tile and spurs. Not too shabby!

Tbh it isn't really gonna be make and break unless you're close to the border, but good to think about as Askr are always gonna be relevant.

- Yeah, it's nice that they are showing up as bonus units constantly now, makes putting some effort into them worthwhile. Still not sure I'm ready to give up any 5* exclusive skills to units who can't get merges though. I should think about rebuilding Sharena too. I haven't used her much since she maxed out her HM. Some dual rally would be good on her too, since I mainly use her as a buffer, but I don't have any dual rally fodder atm.

I was bored this morning so pulled on last year's Halloween banner and got a H!Jakob after a little while. :K +Def/-HP, not too shabby! I think I'll just play around with his base kit rather than Brave Bow+ him up.

Yep I'm still around! A lot less active lately on subeta but not on Feh (except I've been slacking for SI these last days, not having to worry about barracks space anymore + laziness haha) After a few unsuccessful attempts at the Muspell banner and a meh legendary banner, luck is on my side again since I got Halloween Myrrh in my first circle (she's way too cute by the way!) and got Helbindi just after when I decided to give a last shot at the Muspell banner! Today I've also summoned on the BHB banner and I got Cav Eirika which is nice because I didn't have a red tome cavalry yet (but then it's just her and Leo I think?) Sadly she's -spd but I still want to try to make it work!

Haha thank you! Yeah look at us being matchy matchy. Sadly there isn't a lot of RED facial hair but Dorcas red is very red so I'm not too surprised!

Nice job on the pulls! I agree, H!Myrrh is super cute and very tempting. Her art is just adorable. But I'm trying to be good! Cav Eirika is also handy out the box, I like use her for PvE content which she handles nicely with her base kit, even with a relatively low stat total.

- Congrats on Eirika, I tried for her, I got 4* Sylvia instead, which is nice cus I could always use more dancers for HM gaining while training other units :P

- Totally doable. :P I dunno what I'd do with a free Marisa though, the other one is sitting in a manual, she needs to be 5+ for infantry pulse inheritance, and that's really all she's good for.
