thank you so much for the ping. that is SO awesome. Last night I created a pet and joined this group so I could make him hydrus. And she already shows up the very next day. Merana slowly feeds the potion she created to Malarkey and... Malarkey has been transformed into a hydrus pet!

You're welcome! I needed to change Derick and I'm SO GLAD I caught her. She's been showing up super early in the morning usually (at least where I live anyway) and I'm usually asleep. it was such a relief to see her when I was awake :)

Yes, Merana's gone before 12 hours again :( I was about to post when did, as I saw her appear around that time too.

Same, I missed it twice and was so excited to be able to catch it today. However, she's not on the map anymore.

There hasn't been any announced changes to the 12 hour period since the news post on Feb 11.

I pinged the staff in the bugs section. made a thread about it a month ago and I'm not sure if a fix is in the works.

i remember bug mentioning that they were looking into her because they noticed she wasn't staying for the full 12 hours so i think they're aware at least. i can't believe she was only around for like an hour this time e_e

Has anyone seen Merana since the previous post? I've been periodically checking in and haven't seen her. Then again, I'm not too familiar with her new mechanics (how often she appears and how often she stays, which seems to be bugged at the moment). I bought the map back in the day to get Hydrus.

I saw this thread on the main forums page and I was so goddamn worried I missed her again :')

But no, I've been checking here and there also and I haven't seen her. I know the 12-hour timer seems glitched, so I'm wondering if there's something else off with making her not show up in the first place either. Once a month just seems like a long time to wait, especially when she's not even sticking around for the full 12 hours :/

Well, once a month was a slight exaggeration. The last posts were from 11/3 though and it's now the 26th, so that's what I was going off of.

afaik she's not supposed to show up once a week though, I think the news posts just said "every so often" or something just as vague, but I don't think once a week was ever specified
