I used to avidly collect them when Pokemon first came out and it was the cool thing to do, haha! I have a huge-ass binder filled with them (though I destashed a bunch of worthless ones to free up some room and tidy things a while back). I just kind of casually collect them these days. Every now and then I'll see a pack and be like, 'yeaaaah. Imma grab that.'

They're kind of a throwback to being in elementary school for me.

I don't really collect cards as in going out of my way to make sure I have every card in every set but I always buy a couple tins and blisters for every new set that comes out. I've been doing it since the Neo series back in Gen 2 so I have quite a few cards :)

I collected for a few years. Then I dumped them on some cousins.

I restarted in 2015. I just collect them, no interest in the game. What I do now is keep the cards I like and give the rest to one of my nieces.

I can only wonder how some have gone completely off the radar. And some just make me think "WTF?"

I got back into collecting recently, after having not done so for a few years (due to the friend I collected them with moving to the other coast). It feels nice to start collecting on my own now and, using the cards my friend let me keep before she left, my new binder's coming along nicely.

However, I don't usually have the money to go all out and complete any sets, and neither do I play the TCG itself; but I just love collecting them for the artwork anyways. Being able to keep so many different art styles all in one binder is a huge highlight of collecting for me and it's a good source for inspiration. Looking through my binder even calms me down when I'm stressed so it doubles as therapy too.

As for any recent jackpots, I haven't been setting my mind to expecting rare pulls, but I managed to get an Umbreon EX and a Greninja BREAK from the same Kingdra EX box back in April (for my birthday). I was especially happy about that Umbreon in particular.

When I was a kid I collected them. Sometimes I like to look through them and I still love them but I wouldn't start collecting them again. I keep them because I got so many nice memories from them and perhaps they will be worth something on one day haha (:

I used to have some of the original starter decks and a few cards from booster packs. Kicking myself for getting rid of a lot of those years ago. T_T My sister and her husband have gone a bit crazy over Pokémon cards recently, and gotten me back into them as well.

Currently I have the Black & White Green Tornado, Blue Assault, and Red Frenzy theme decks, which I've had for a few years. Recently got the Sun & Moon Forest Shadow theme deck, and the Guardians Rising Hidden Moon theme deck. Also got the Lunala tin, and I've bought several boosters.

Planning to get some more boosters soon. I want to get the Evolutions cards. Nice to see the originals getting reprinted and updated!

I somewhat collect the cards - I want one for every pokemon!

My rarest card is probably my Shining Celebi card from the days of Gold/Silver/Crystal versions. I got it from the ONLY booster pack I ever got from that booster series. And it's an ultra-rare. Holo, obviously.

I did when I was a kid, and I've thought about collecting and battling again! I play Magic, so it wouldn't be a big leap into card playing. (:

I collect WotC promos, Sun & Moon promos and some of my favorite pokemon :) Set-wise I collect Jungle - Neo. Finally completed Base!

I collect all the Drifloon and Drifblim cards (big surprise lol). I've got almost all of the Japanese and English ones, but I'd love to get other languages too.

I've also been getting Sandygast and Palossand's cards as they come out.

I collected them when I was little, then I got hit again hard for some reason when Black and White came out. I have a reusable shopping bag full with cards. It's so heavy. I wish I could just get rid of it.

I have been collecting pokemon cards for almost 20 years now. xD I don't really try to complete sets, more like get all of the pokemon and every time I get newer cards from pokemon I already have, I stack them into their sleeve in my albums until it can't fit anymore, then I decide which card I like the least and give them to my cousins, along with duplicates. I'm not as obsessed over them as I once was but I'm really proud of my big collection, all the way to the original first releases, and I boast to the younger kids who are starting to like pokemon. (I might have or not edged them into pokemon) With new pokemon being created withevery generation I wonder if I'll ever get them all. >v>;

I stopped collecting shortly after that because my family fell on hard times, and then I decided they were being released too fast for me to keep up anyways, so I never picked it back up again. I was never too interested in the card game either, I just liked collecting. xD I have some really neat rare cards like Shining Charizard, and a Japanese set of the Johto Legendary beast trio. My favorite card is my first edition, holographic Espeon. :D (Espeon is my favorite Pokemon so I was super hype to get it as my first ever first edition card.) I also have a few movie promo cards like surfing Pikachu and ancient Mew.... I should probably unearth that binder from my closet and take a look at my collection again, haha.

I don't collect per ce... but if I happen upon a few packs I will buy them just to see what I can get from them. I have a small deck of cards in my closet. Nothing fancy at all mind you.

I don't play much, aside from the TCG app and that's rarely, but I'm big into collecting! My manchild and I started participating in Box Breaks in groups on Facebook and it's escalated from there. He's gotten out of it but I still very much am into it. I don't look up card prices or worth, my for me so far my favorite rare card is the Rainbow Rare Charizard from this recent series, Burning Shadows. Oh, and the last time I bought a box of Evolutions, I pulled Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, and Dragonite full arts along with some EXs. That was a pretty proud moment for me.

I started collecting them again about two years ago, then stopped for a bit and picked it back up earlier this year in May I think? I have a full binder of about 900 cards and am currently saving up to get a new one and new sheets. I mostly buy singles off of TCGPlayer but whenever a new set comes out I like to buy a few boosters. I don't have very many EX/GX/full art cards but I cherish the ones I do have. I also play online but not competitively at all. lol
