that's not bad really. my prom dress costed too much 600 :O my sister payed half so my dad didn't have to pay it all and you can't get nothing back after. it was donated to the people who can't afford them. wish i went cheap then too.

Yeah they can be, but right now my sister is stressing me out because she decided we all need to help out for my niece's quinceanera with only a month and a half or so to plan it. Luckily i think my sister is having her go simple and not extravagant.

We had been asking for years about this and always got no for an answer, now she springs this last minute. It's bothersome but hubby and i will do what we can.

It's basically a sweet sixteen but it happens at 15 instead and is overly extravagant, like a wedding. Most of them cost as much, if not, more than a wedding. It's a tradition in the Mexican culture because 15 is when a young girl is considered to become a woman. I didnt have one because i chose not to. Lol
