I noticed earlier when I posted some CSS that involved an id (which always starts with a # sign) and it showed up as a link to the forum group of that name. Here is another example (pinging one of my own groups)
test ping
I'll edit to say whether or not I got the ping (that is, whether I actually was pinged or if it's just a formatting issue with how the sCode is displayed)
In general, text inside code snippets should not be formatted or interpreted like sCode ("should" here meaning the expected behavior of code tags, I'm not making any judgments lol) That way we can post code here without worrying about it being formatted weird or accidentally pinging somebody :)
[edit] Just confirming, the code snippet above did ping me.

I fixed it... well, mostly.
That last part is not optimal but like, it works well enough for now.
