Megan is currently caring for a creature she found.

While walking through the forest one day (with permission, of course!), Megan came across the most curious creature that appeared to be injured. Taking great caution she managed to coax it to her so she could see what was ailing it. Upon realising the poor creatures leg appeared to be broken she conjured a small cot for it and transported it to the castle to ask the advice of the Care of Magical Creatures teacher. Professor Sparks was surprised to see such a rare creature and agreed to let Megan handle it's recovery.

One evening the creature followed her to the common room and Megan ended up trying to get it to return to Professor Sparks' containment area but it refused. The Professor suggested she allow it to stay with her awhile. It was that evening that Megan discovered the creature could not only bloom flowers on its back but it also enjoyed hot cocoa with lots of marshmallow.

She's named it Fred and they are rarely seen apart now.

Paddy (Gryffindor) likes to do a good deed every now and then - a day or three after term starts, she cycles down to the station so she can collect the things that students have left behind. Sure the owls could deliver some items, but she didn't think it was fair for them to deliver everything ;)

Millie enjoys tutoring in the library. She earns Outstandings in all her classes and is very good at breaking down and explaining concepts in ways most students understand. Students often seek her to help with History of Magic because she is able to explain it in a way that makes it more interesting.

Starling most certainly did not purposely add any extra ground beetle eyes to her classmate's potion knowing she would earn detention with their Potions Master when she was caught. She would never do such a thing...especially not if she'd known she'd be forced to serve it with Filch

Drew Wilder, newcomer to Slytherin house, knows from having been the new kid at schools before that one thing is the same in both the Muggle and Wizard worlds...you have to prove yourself in order to fit in. In an attempt to do just that, Drew is also showing what a troublemaker he can be. At night, he sneaks into one of the professors offices and leaves them a surprise gift of treats...hiccough sweets and shock-o-choc to be precise. Some unsuspecting professor is going to be delighted with the candy...until they eat it! And of course in the Gryfindor colored bag they will never suspect a Slytherin, right? And certainly not the fairly quiet newcomer.
