Tuesday is the new Monday. :P I'm probably going to go to a salon (when I have a job orz ), just so someone who does this professionally can give me an outside opinion on it. I have an oval face shape, and have seen girls with oval face shapes, and it's freaking cute (but my definition of cute is more like creepy-cute 90% of the time). I need new glasses anyway, my frames are just... Mildly thick, IMO, even if they aren't that thick.XD

I just need...to buy more stuff. Ha!

LOL it really is. There is nothing to redeem a Tuesday. If you have a good weekend you can carry the mood over to Monday and Wednesday is hump day already but Tuesday is crapola.

Creepy cute is adorable! At least you have a style. All I have is faded colored hair which I desperately wanna get cut off again so I can go back to frequent bleach/dye cycles. I have mildly thick nerdy glasses, I like that style!

Really tho... Go away Tuesday. Shoo. I want to change my hair color but again, job + money plus I need a protein treatment to cheat the random split ends I still have scattered around. Legit, these were like the only not-ugly frames that met the size requirements I had so they would suit my face :c And now I can't find glasses in that size range. I swear I would live in contacts if that was more affordable.

I wish I could navigate the CW shops - or the CW portion of user shops, is that how it works now? - better, I might pick up some stuff.

I have one treatment and some azure blue, I think? What I don't have is the right conditioner to do the coloring or the right shampoo to maintain is afterwards. Plus I really want to cute my hair off. The ends are fried from repeat bleaching and look like hell no matter what amount of conditioning I do. That and I really like my hair cut off. I have a grown out 360 that would be the right length (the formerly shaved parts). ALL the framed were ugly I looked at, these were a not-as-ugly as some others. I wish I could afford contacts but I am near- and far-sighted so I'd still need reading glasses. :/

Question regarding the HA contest in the design tent:

Can sp (as in non CW) foreground items be used as background items? Or do the items that are waived/allowed to not be CW items have to be in the BG category?

[-the-Meddler] Well, it works both ways, sort of. If you have a CW in mind, or at least a color/concept (ex: candy), you can find all the CWs/items that have "Candy" in the name. The CW shops in the Cash Shop are a little bit more finicky; putting in a username works better than a partial item name in my experience. You can always look on SubetaLodge or the Wardrobe but I hate sifting in the wardrobe at the same time.

I have no idea who makes azure blue lol. I do find blue can either be extremely resilient, or extremely... Poor. There's something about certain brands/colors working better than others. But yeah, it sounds like you need a trim D: And if you want to lop it off, then lop it off! I know that feeling :C I have a style I like in glasses some times, others I just find something to settle on. Like I think my hella-thick, circular sunglasses are the Best Damn Thing™ when I wear them, but wouldn't really go for that in a glasses frame. I get how that's aggravating, for sure. My mom needs bifocals, but wears contacts and is transitioning to wearing glasses more often now, so she's trying to find frames she really likes.

I had a question but nevermind since it turns out that I interpreted the wording incorrectly.

I have nothing in mind, I just wanted to grab a couple of things that might work together. Like I saw a hair/horns combo last night that I liked but I continued to browse and lost track of it. I find it difficult now but I am sure I'll learn, "sifting" is a good term for it right now.

Oh! It's an iON color. I like iON or BTZ colors. I definitely need more than a trim. I like to bleach and color too often for much hair. It's got to go. Yes this was an "I settled" sort of thing but then again I am limited to what I can buy in glasses with my heavy Rx and everything. I don't go for the trifocals. Every time I have I regretted them because the second the frames warp even slightly? You can't see right through the focal lenses. Plus they cost an arm and a leg. I wish I liked my frames better because I am really stuck with them. I used to have lenses and omg did I love them but I needed disposables because of allergy/protein depositing issues. I feel your mom, so much.

OH. I know Ion. Their blues can swing either way; I like the One N' Only Argan, their new Brights collection is so pigmented. If Special Effects were more accessible, I'd buy it every single time. Atomic Pink is my color. I get that, it's so difficult. Between the cost of bifocals/trifocals and the cost of frames, its so hard! D:

I've used the Brights and I recently used a Gemstone color. I love Atomic Pink, I've used it before! I'm thinking of going back to pinks, really, they really suit my attitude. It's very hard, omg, Idk when I am gonna get another pair! D:

The blue was very nice, super-dark. I miss pink though, it looks better on the fadeout and I love the chicky-yellow with pink tips that looks like Easter when I first go to bleach out, too. We both have such a rough time with this issue! 😭

Nice. I've used Blue Mayhem (Special Effects), Teal (discontinued Ion color 😢 ), and Electric Teal + Midnight Blue (One N' Only). Holy HELL, Electric Teal won't budge but it was gorgeous. Eye exams are an expensive thing that aren't 100% a priority, whereas rent is. 😓 If I still had my underpaid/overworked job, I'd be able to swing everything I needed at the beginning of the month and not worry about anything else. :(
