Sweet, thanks for letting me know! I saw the thread in the CW creators forum (I'm assuming that's where this was said lol) but I didn't get around to reading it until it was like hella long and I didn't want to just jump in at that point >_<

But that's good to hear! I'm at least glad that mentioning when an item is a recolor is potentially helpful (/stares at my 20+ twisted bandeau colors)

oh~! yeah i do understand that it is annoying when you didn't need to fix anything (which was the case whenever that happened with me as well)... i know that staff can send out an individual notification to a user, but there isn't a system where we can reply to that notification... idk if it's too much to ask for a new feature to solve a very small use case though ;c working in the software development cycle, i know that the words "new feature" is like death to devs when they are already trying to keep the existing straw roof from falling down xD

yeah~ though i'm not sure how helpful it would be since recolors get accepted more quickly anyways xD

Hey guys :) I'm just now seeing this so wanted to throw in a few thoughts!

• Briefly right before Christmas a few people were doing the queue without me. There were a few things that were missed on denials due to this. It's been reviewed with the correct people, so that issue should be fine at least!
• If I forget to mention something in a previous denial and notice it on the second, I REALLY do my best to apologize for it (I know a few of you have gotten my "So sorry I didn't mention this last time!" notes!). I obviously don't do this every time, because... well, I'm human ;) But I really do my best to apologize for it! I'm not trying to waste anyone's time :)
• There really are times where I didn't notice something the first denial but notice it when it's resubmitted, or when I have someone else take a look at it. Sometimes these really DO come up afterwards! I hate it when this happens too, but as I said... I am human, so I make mistakes sometimes!
• Sometimes a fix creates another issue
• And sometimes, if an item is being denied for something severe (especially a broken rule), we DON'T go through all the denial reasons since the rule-breaking issue has to be addressed prior to basically anything else.

Also, mentioning things are a recolor IS helpful (we verify it ourselves too, and we're thinking of making a way to make this a bit easier) but recolors ARE judged separately. There are times when a recolor TOTALLY changes the way an item looks, especially with regards to darkness and line art thickness. So something being a recolor is never 100% an acceptance.

Thank you so much for putting up the denial guide again! As you know, I've really wanted something like this to be able to help out people and I'd honestly forgotten it existed till you mentioned it again to me. :X

Obviously not 'right this second' or anything like that, but is there plans in the future to add some of the new / more confusing denials to the guide? Such as the one I received for recolorability (you could also use my item as the example too!) and also maybe the difference between an acceptable mannequin bust and a not acceptable one? (again feel free to use mine as an example if need be too!) I just am not sure personally how to give advice on these if someone else comes forward with something similar and I don't want to spread misinformation obviously and like you said, since I'm not staff I can't possibly know your thought process or the denial process so it'd just be lovely to see an official staff information section on those.

also again really sorry for all the bothering and stupidity on my part lately I really have just been trying to be helpful but clearly my lack of intelligence on things is throwing my foot in my mouth and I'm going to have to work on it

I mentioned it in the actual guide itself, but I DO plan to go back and edit the guide when time allows -- it is a bit "older" now, but I was mostly concerned with getting it up and running again :) Back when it was made I had Tissa to help me, so going through the CWs to get more examples alone is a VERY daunting task -- one I intend to tackle when I have a few good days off in a row to dedicate to it at some point!
